🍃~ Bumi grumbled because his buddy was right; his taste in fashion was impeccable. But ! ! That didn’t actually mean this suit was ugly… right? Okay. He was getting a teeny‑tiny bit self‑conscious.
His smirk turned into a childish pout, his arms crossing tightly over his chest. “ I hate it when you’re somewhat right. ”

You’re just jealous you can’t sport it like I do. ” He planted his hands on his hips, his smirk widening into something far more satisfied—that ridiculous confidence of his. “ Look, Roh, when you’re my age, you can only hope to look half as good as I do. ”

Zuko’s gaze narrowed at his nephew with a look behind his eyes that might just light the man’s trousers on fire from its intensity as he reached his hand toward the platter of sweet bean cakes he wasn’t supposed to be touching.
“If you breathe a word to Mai, I’m taking you down with me.”
🍃~ Bumi felt the intensity of his uncle's glare; it made him shrink at least two sizes. Had Uncle always been this scary? He knew better than to push it at this point. Yeah. He couldn’t help himself as ocean-blue eyes flickered from his uncle’s terrifying gaze to the platter of sweet bean cakes.
“ Can I have one too? ” Ey, this way he couldn't rat him out, right? A win‑win situation.

🍃~ “ I saw everything, old timer. ” He liked calling the former Fire Lord that—something he couldn’t call his own father anymore, not since his passing. Zuko had become the closest thing to a father figure. The funny part? Bumi was an old timer himself.
