i think like how healers in ffxiv have the rescue ability to drag people to where they're currently standing, they should give tanks a new ability that pushes people away from them, with the intention tanks can use it when someone is going to get hit by a cleave or something. we can call it 'get down mr president'. nothing bad could possibly come from this

in conjunction with this they should add a raid where the only way to solve a central mechanic is for healers and tanks to use their respective pulling/pushing powers to send dps flying around the stage like a pinball machine

Okay but we already have something so close in Everkeep EX (enum pairs that knock your partner up so they can land on the opposite platform) so just imagine. Imagine if we had a mechanic that needed six people on one side of the arena and two on the other, and THEN needed two and six, so you'd have the healers as the pair for the first part and then the tanks yeeted two DPS and the healers grabbed the other two DPS.

Alternatively. Funnier idea. Imagine a mechanic where one DPS gets rooted and needs to be passed around four separate locations like a hot potato.
