Beneath the starlit skies of Velaris, the City of Starlight, the bonds of love, friendship, and family shine brighter than ever.

Rhysand and Azriel face off in an intense game of chess, their sharp minds locked in friendly rivalry. Feyre and Cassian banter with each other, their vibrant energy lighting up the space. Nesta, ever the stoic yet radiant force, enjoys the solace of her book, while Elain softly chats with Azriel—her words laced with love, perhaps even slyly revealing Rhysand’s next move.

This is Velaris at its core: a tapestry of connection, laughter, and quiet moments that make this family of warriors, dreamers, and lovers whole.

I am so looking forward to getting to know Elain’s friends Nuala and Cerridwen in her book! They have been such a shadowy presence in the background since book 1 and I can’t wait to find out more about them and the dynamic between them and Elain.

It was such an honor to get the opportunity to work with @mysleepyblue on this piece! The love and care she puts into every detail shines through in her work, Isa took my idea and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined 🥹❤️

Whenever Elain said in SF that her favorite dance was the waltz, I couldn’t stop thinking about the idea of her and Azriel sharing one! I think it’s such a sweet idea, the closeness and intimacy to each other would be so romantic and swoon-worthy!
