“My dad teaching math in Southern California (late 70s/early 80s)”
literally the only math class i would ever look forward to
he’s finally retiring after teaching for 40 years at the same school, so the yearbook had him recreate the picture

Revealing the Hidden Patterns of Birds in Motion
Dennis Hlynsky, a film and animation professor at the Rhode Island School of Design, creates videos at the intersection of art and science. Hlynsky transforms ordinary footage of birds and insects into ethereal illustrations by digitally tracing the paths they travel.
Hlynsky’s work is typically featured in galleries, where the video is projected on large screens with recorded sound. To see more videos from Hlynsky, please visit his Vimeo channel.

2003 and @bluefreerun. PK4, the second gathering that Paul and I attended. I’d bought myself some crazy, dirt cheap fisheye adapter on eBay for my Canon SLR, shooting rolls of Ilford XP2. Cameras back then were cheaper but buying film and getting it developed and scanned was expensive. Having to wait the best part of a week to see my shots was a nightmare. Everything was then tweaked in Paint Shop Pro and uploaded to the tiny bit of hosting space that was part of my broadband package. Pre Facebook, pre Flickr, pre everything - sharing stuff was a bit harder than it is today.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #2003 ⠀⠀ #parkour #parkourlife #parkourculture #parkour4life #parkourphotography #dailyfreerunning #freerunning #pkfr #parkourandfreerunning #roofculture #blackandwhite #guardiancities #urbanromantix #thestreets #createcommune #monochrome #britishculture #thecity #photonoob #moodygrams #enjoytheride #beboundless #liveauthentic #streetshared #sutton #oldschool #wherearetheynow — view on Instagram http://ift.tt/2jk5p8s
