Thanks for the support at Kimikon today! I decided to kinda stop making anime prints and focus on more original art from now on! Please follow me over @ jenlaiting on Instagram to see me post art. I might still make a few anime charms and stickers from time to time though. :)
Thank you to all that supported us at Otakuthon! It was my first time sharing a table with Kao (https://twitter.com/sasskervilles) and she was so sweet and amazing. :) It was also my first time selling t-shirts and tote bags. T-shirt stock ran out mid Saturday, I was surprised but happy. :D To be on the safe side, I didn’t make too many shirts. But since they did well I will be making more shirts! :) My next event will be at Canzine Toronto on September 22. When I receive the shirts I will post photos on my new Instagram account. There is nothing on it yet but I will start posting the week before Canzine! Please follow @meromero.day on Instagram to support me. I also plan on opening an etsy store after Canzine. :) You may have noticed that I have not posted on here in a very long time. It was because I felt burnt out from school and lost interest in almost everything that I use to enjoy. I’ve felt a little better recently though. Unfortunately, I don’t think I want to continue posting on Tumblr. I don’t use this site at all anymore. I intended to keep my anime art and children’s illustration work separate but I may combine them now. Or use Twitter? I’m not sure. But I do have plans to post more on my art instagram @jenlaiting. If you’re interested in more than my anime art, please follow that account. <3
