In fact, the twist compared to the movie is that Alastor was meant to be on this mission while VOX wasn't: they banned him for being too promiscuous! He's a genius, sure, but they feared he was gonna distract the crew by fucking them & also no doubt try to fuck aliens if they ever find some. But Vox sneaked onto the ship, and by the time he was discovered, it was too late to send him back🤣
Al never considers going back to Earth. A planet where there's only ONE person out of the entire population who's trying to sleep with him (one that he's already acclimated to and kinda likes) bc everyone else finds him gross? Where he must live a solitary life quarantined away from the noisy crowds in a comfy bayou biodome? Also everyone likes music so he can start his own podcast/radioshow? SIGN HIM THE FUCK UP
He has second thoughts when Vox creates a humanlike body for himself that he can avatar-pilot from afar so he can fuck alastor properly & hang out with him without the xenosuit, but Vox being glued to him is nothing new and it's a small price to pay overall😂
