Dillon ;
When it came to Dillon, mistakes almost felt inevitable. Sometimes it felt like the O’Brien way. Even when he tried to do the right thing, he somehow fucked it up. He was slowly getting better, fucking up less and less, but there were still past mistakes waiting to haunt him. “The next time we break up?” Dillon repeated, crossing his arms. “Planning it already?” He knew that he’d done some stupid shit in the past, he couldn’t even deny it if he wanted to. But he was starting to grow, starting to try, and he didn’t like his past mistakes thrown in his face. Especially Brianna. Accident or not, she was one of the best things to happen to him. That was one bait he wasn’t going to take. “Are you really this pissed at me for something that happened in the past?” he asked, exasperated. “I can’t fucking change it, Cathy.”
Cathy loved Dillon, she did. She loved him so much it scared her and it always had. When it came to their past, some things just weren’t pretty and sometimes it still affected her. This had been one of those times unfortunately where her jealousy and insecurity got the best of her. Dillon was really the only person able to get to her like this. Cathy scoffs as he accuses her of planning on breaking up with him. “ No! Of course not! You think I like not being with you? I don’t! I’m fuckin’ miserable without you! “ She confesses. She knew she shouldn’t have been so angry considering it was the past but whenever she found out about him and another girl, she couldn’t help but be jealous about it and possessive when it came to him. She’d prefer if she didn’t have to know about it. Cathy sighs heavily, dropping down onto the bed and running a hand over her face. She crosses her arms in front herself, dropping her defenses. “ No, I guess not.. “ She says quietly, her vulnerable side only he saw shining through.
