Someone posted this to the neighborhood group in Reddit and everyone roasted them so hard they took it down. WE'VE ALREADY SEEN THE WILLY WONKA SCAM and it'd be wise to not trust your children's enjoyment to events with colorful slop like this.

Van Gogh's legacy has already been shit on multiple times in various ways. One of the worst offenders being the "Van Gogh Immersive Experience", at least one of the two (or more?) that was a bunch of shitty photoshopping of his paintings displayed in motion on a wall in a dark room.

They had fake prints of his paintings on canvas that you could tell were downloaded at low resolution from google images. Somehow his estate approved this.

At least this show is just a bunch of actual flowers arranged to be like his paintings, which is sort of cool because it's using real human work and real flowers that are inspired by his art.

But to use an AI image to promote it. Fuck outta here.

Here's another one from that same NFT art show. I'll give this one credit that it's slightly more interesting. But again, wtf is it?

The AI has no intention, it has no vision. It's just poorly replicating and mixing together things that existed before that had intention behind them.

And as for buying this as artwork, who would want this playing on their wall? The jerky motion is sickening.

I accidentally found myself at an NFT art show where shit like this was playing.

NFTs were created with the idea that actual artists could control the rights and monetization of their work better, but as losers and scammers always do, they ruined this and filled the metaverse of NFTs with procedurally generated ape-slop (not AI!) and then actual AI slop like this.

Who the fuck thinks this is good? I'll admit it's fucking weird, but interesting? In no way shape or form.

I could open Photoshop, press my face against the keyboard, stick the mouse up my ass and bounce around on the floor smashing the keyboard into my face over and over again to randomly select tools while the mouse is moved and activated by the clenching of my buttchecks, and whatever I made would be more interesting than this.

Though if I attempted that, I would probably end up exiting photoshop and accidentally signing up for Paramount+ again.

This shit is clearly AI generated, as the guy running the program is a big time dumbass capitalist who thinks AI will somehow save us, but all it's been doing is eliminating jobs with poor replacements of art.

Let's break this "logo" (stretch of the term) down a bit.

First of all, this lumpy head, crooked mouthed, Disney-fied unknown dog breed is the mascot for "D.O.G.E.", because the org was named after the doge meme. Isn't that funny? No? Okay! He doesn't even look like a shiba inu, more like a corgi, or a pomeranian. Who knows if this is a failure of the AI generator, or bad "prompt-engineering" by idiots 🙄

The top one has poorly rendered parallel lines for the stripes which is typical of AI generators because it doesn't know how to "draw" something graphic that still has complex shape in space.

That goes for the details of the random gear containing the other flag, which if this was hand drawn, it was just be drawn poorly, which begs the question: which is better, to do something fast and wrong, or more thoroughly and correct? — Efficiency!!!

WTF is up with these stars? Don't even ask why they're not all star shaped, or even symmetrical, because they're AI generated, there is no answer to those questions! That's just what it spit out.

Don't even get me started on the godawful "typography", or lack thereof in this slop.

I won't go into every shitty pixel, but I'll stop at what would be glaringly bad work if done by a human. I guess since an LLM spit this out according to some giggling manchild loser's typed out prompt, that makes it acceptable because it's "technology", right? FOH

This cafe pushed out the long standing independently owned Greek cafe it set up right next to in the same building, after the landlord added plastic wood panels to the brick building (the grey panels in this photo). Not surprised they'd use fucking AI image slop (not art) to promote their overpriced food slop.
