It's not just "someone has done it worse than you," it's "someone who is much better qualified and more experienced has done it worse than you." I had an English professor in college who was a department head and did some major critical work during his tenure. He retired a few years ago, and just released his first fiction book. It is utter dog shit. The whole book is filled with awkward speech, extreme character inconsistency, and a weird obsession with people eating peanut butter. I can guarantee you that 95% of the stuff on AO3 is written better. He's also posting AI-generated movie posters of an adaptation featuring famous actors. Now, whenever I'm not sure about something I'm doing, I think, "Whatever happens, it's not going to be as bad as that book."
they made ai slop for a hype thing for my school its like 2023 level bad xd
Just came across this CEC AI slop and I’m trying to figure out how tf CEC can get away with having the Apple logo on Chuck E.’s laptop-
I usually ignore AI slop but this is just hilarious
