âI crave time by myself to sit and heal my heart before I step out into the world again.â
â Gemman Troy
Emotions spread through mirror neurons and social influences, as shown by studies on human networks. Habits, discipline, or even appearance influence each other in a close circle. Curating your environment is a proven strategy for preserving your mindset and mental health
Your routines are a love letter to your future self
đ
And I thank God daily for all that I have and all that I take for granted.
Unfortunately, itâs true that when you become âself obsessedâ the world starts paying more attention to you
By self obsessed, I donât mean thinking youâre better than everyone else or making everything about you
I mean becoming deeply invested in your own life. Prioritizing your growth, your health, your goals, your peace, and your happiness. Building a life that excites you instead of constantly wondering what everyone else thinks
Ironically, the less you chase attention, the more magnetic you become. People are naturally drawn to someone who knows who they are, has purpose, and isnât looking for validation from everyone around them
So maybe âself obsessedâ isnât the right word. Self connected is
heavy on reciprocity and heavy on removing myself from spaces that lack it.
"God never gives you more than you can handle" is survivorship bias. People who got more than they could handle are dead.
Oh, dear. I can't reblog that fast enough.
silly me to think everyone would have the same heart as i do
