Doing some reminiscing about my trip, so I decided to look up vids on YouTube from one of my favorite places I found, English Garden in Munich. I swam down twice.

A friend of mine asked me to make a collection of all the pictures of doors I took throughout Europe to give to a family member for Christmas. Whipped this up a few days ago.
Wandering Youtube today, I decided to go looking for footage of the Village People concert I attended at Paradiso in Amsterdam, and sure enough, there I am. White bandana, bottom left of the screen!
Finally got to see my cousin tonight and give him the shirt I picked up for him in London. It's a bit big, but he'll grow into it!
Travel is little beds and cramped bathrooms. Itās old television sets and slow Internet connections. Travel is extraordinary conversations with ordinary people. Itās waiters, gas station attendants, and housekeepers becoming the most interesting people in the world. Itās churches that are compelling enough to enter. Itās McDonaldās being a luxury. Itās the realization that you may have been born in the wrong country. Travel is a smile that leads to a conversation in broken English. Itās the epiphany that pretty girls smile the same way all over the world. Travel is tipping 10% and being embraced for it. Travel is the same white T-shirt again tomorrow. Travel is accented sex after good wine and too many unfiltered cigarettes. Travel is flowing in the back of a bus with giggly strangers. Itās a street full of bearded backpackers looking down at maps. Travel is wishing for one more bite of whatever that just was. Itās the rediscovery of walking somewhere. Itās sharing a bottle of liquor on an overnight train with a new friend. Travel is āMaybe I donāt have to do it that way when I get back home.ā Itās nostalgia for studying abroad that one semester. Travel is realizing that āage thirtyā should be shed of its goddamn stigma.

I have a lot of pet peeves but I think the biggest one is when people say things likeĀ āoh itās such a small town, only 35,000 peopleā like bitch my town has 200 people, you need to pick a new adjectiveĀ
According to Wikipedia, a small town is 1,000-20,000 people. So although you are correct in stating that 35,000 people is not a small town (it is a large town), you are incorrect in thinking that you live in a town. You live in a village. You are a villager.
Iā¦ā¦ donāt know what to do with that informationā¦ā¦a villagerā¦
This makes you a Village Person. Embrace who you are.
Road trips are the equivalent of human wings
Road trips are the equivalent of human wings. Ask me to go on one, anywhere. Weāll stop in every small town and learn the history and the stories, feel the ground and capture the spirit. Then weāll turn it into our own story that will live inside our history to carry with us, always. Because stories are more important than things. - Victoria Erickson
Have fun, even if itās not the same kind of fun everyone else is having.

Shout Out to AndreaMosaic, an awesome program Iāve been using since high school. Its a free program that makes epic photomosaics like this one. The main image is a pic I snapped at the Berlin Wall, and it made a photomosaic from all the photos from my trip.
Find it here, they make an awesome program!

Well that couldnāt have been better timing. My āBack In Reginaā post last night was my 300th blog entry!
Back in Regina, will post updates when I wake up. G'night world!
My home for the next 9 hours. Calgary here I come!
All checked in at London Gatwick Airport, through security, and had a delicious breakfast at one of the restaurants. And a .gif of a sushi restaurant with some cool LED bubble stick lights. Next stop, Calgary!
Not sure if I ever posted this, donāt think so, but this is the tattoo I got a few weeks before leaving for this trip. Itās on my right arm, on the inside. I got it there cause itās my hitchhiking arm. Itās started so many conversations during the trip that itās been completely worth it. I plan to get a few more tattoos once I get back to Canada, ideas I got throughout my travels.
