Moving ON to Blogger
Link HERE
I've decided to migrate onto Blogger for a photo blog due to its flexibility in themes and mostly because I've been annoyed with a lot of spammers on Tumblr. I still love Tumblr, I guess I just wanted to be more serious about this photo-blogging shtuff. Please check out the blogger, and I promise I won't be making any new blogs for a long time (:P) !
Thank you :)

Sweetbox dessert bar at Shops at Legacy, Plano TX.
It was such a cute little place with some elegant decor. Try the wine-cake ball pairing if you ever go.

Your description of Colorado is perfection <3
Aw thank you! :) I really enjoyed my time there.
A breath of fresh air.
That was Denver, Colorado for me this past weekend.
With no expectations, no plans, no thoughts, I simply flew the 2 hour trip on a crammed little airplane next to an incessantly sniffling man - to find myself in a city that has been so broken the past couple of weeks (Prayers go out to all those who lost their loved ones in Aurora). There was no way you don't feel the brokenness in the city. The mile-high city that just seems to be lost in its mountain fences and grey factories all around the metroplex. My first impression wasn't that it was beautiful. But it grew on me even for a couple of days, after meeting some wonderful people and being in between the shadows of the lost and the homeless, then finding places where we could enjoy the sunset and the dry coolness in the evenings. I had an amazing time but it also broke my heart in many ways.
It was a breath of fresh air to my mind and my heart. Sometimes it becomes really hard to tell what's really needed and what's not.
Photos above were taken in downtown Denver.
Alice!
Denver trip was so fun :)

Tipsy Glenny's spontaneous photo shoot. My question here is... why are you so good at this?!

Testing my new iPhone camera out around the house. Quiet and peaceful here.
Being ridiculous kids in big town Plano, TX. More like scouting out places for photo shoots.
Career Paths I May Consider If This Whole Journalism Thing Doesn’t Pan Out
(from most likely to least likely)
1. Open up an awesome cafe that has faded brick walls and huge windows and vintage cameras and photos all around the wall. And of course, I’m going to turn it into a live jazz venue on weekend nights and possibly hire a full time pianist/singer. But even with all that, it’ll be nationally well known for its amazing espresso and fresh baked cookies.
2. Become a professional traveler - couch surfing and voluntary homelessness at its finest. I’ll probably bring around a jar of nutella (bc it goes well with anything), an extra pair of shoes and my student id (possible discounts! you never know!) all over the world. Of course all documentation will be done on Instagram…
3. Be a writer. Write an awesome series about dragons/draculas/vampires/wizards/ridiculouslovetrianglesthatwouldneverhappeninreallife and get rich off of it and live with that for the rest of my life
4. Become a food critic/judge. Yes I would love to just sit there and eat the best food and say mean things about them.
5. Start up a hip social media company. Haven’t exactly decided on what about yet.
6. Start lifting weights and work out like crazy enough to make it to Olympic 2016 as a woman squatter
7. Start a band. Psh, and it’ll obviously be a piano centric indie band.
8. Open a food truck in Austin - I’ll be that Asian lady
9. Make work out videos?
10. Become the Catwoman
My point here is - I really hope journalism does pan out. And maybe cafe later when I’m old and useless. :)
Summer Vacation for Young Pro-Lifers
A two-week summer camp outside of Bryan helps high school students learn how to become effective anti-abortion advocates. Counselors teach campers to adopt a gentler, compassion-based form of persuasion. “They all have a passion; that’s why they are here,” one counselor said.

It was such a fun and rewarding day despite the long drive. It was probably one of the most memorable experience - simply being in the kind of environment I've never found myself in before. I was overwhelmed. I gave my best effort to talk to the students to make them feel comfortable with me flashing the camera right in their faces. Being invisible as a photographer is so hard, especially with kids. Well I learned so much through this and can't wait to shoot something like this again. Thank you TX Tribune (Jacob).
Oh girl, East Austin is where all the fun is!
Seriously! I just made a bucket list of all the places I want to check out in East Austin. #austinitewannabe
The Infamous East 6th
One doesn't go to the east side of I-35 unless he/she absolutely must. Well that's what I was told almost the entire time I was in Austin anyway. So I always avoided going over there to explore, which was really uncharacteristic of me, but when I discovered east 11th, east MLK and Juan In A Million, I was convinced that more visits were necessary.
I was on E. 3rd this morning for some internship assignments and decided to take a little drive through the neighborhood and pulled over for a bit to take a few snaps. I'm sure many "original," "veteran," "real," austinites would scoff and say this is old news, but really, I enjoyed it and am regretful that I didn't get to explore more of the east side of Austin when I had more time.
Oh, Austin. You make it so hard for me to leave you.
