An OAU Don while hosting Eagle Post Senior Correspondent; Ajose Gideon explained that striking lecturers were the major factor in deciding the School’s Resumption. When asked if the recent fumigation of lecture Theaters and Student Hostels were in preparation for the resumption he replied in the affirmative citing the NUC circular that instructed Institutions of Higher Learning to conclude plans to begin full Academic Exercise, he also drew Our attention to the other Federal Schools that have announced date for resumption.

He however made it know that the issues surrounding the Strike isn’t limited to the Lecturers alone as even Non Academic Staffs are having their Salaries deducted in no civil proportion, some have more than N100000 difference while some have been having more than N150000 deducted from their Salary, he also explained that the compulsory deduction that was done on Net Income is now done on Gross income thereby increasing the amount to be deducted.
