//This is an RP Blog for PJSK OC Akari!
This post is a work in progress
*A girl, running away from her infested home, finds herself lost in the middle of nowhere. She notices you, and quickly makes her way over*
Ah! Another person! I was starting to think everyone had either died or fled. Are you alright?
@akarihitori
*Reiko startled at the voice*
Keep your voice down, they're close !
*What was that girl doing here ? Reiko was about to tell her to leave her alone but stopped herself. After all, she could use a meat shield*
I'm fine, what about you ? I sure hope you're not infected...
Those things haven't been able to catch me yet. They invaded my home, so I had to flee. Do you mind if I accompany you? After all, two is better than one
Sure is.
*Reiko chuckled*
Do you know any safe spot we could go to ? Any shelter with food and water ?
I think there's a hotel in that direction
*Akari points down a certain street*
Maybe they could help us?
You think there will be more survivors in this hotel ? There should be food and water, at least. Alright, let's go.
Lead the way !
Perhaps. I think it's our best bet, at least for now
*As they walked, Akari suddenly realized they had never introduced each other*
By the way, my name is Akari. Nice to meet you
I'm Reiko. Nice to meet you too, Akari.
*She might as well act nice so that Akari would me more willing to help her*
So... I assume you don't know more than me about these weird bugs ? Or about any way to cure this infection ?
No, not really. All I know is what they said on the news, and that they're crafty enough to invade homes
*As they talked, they arrived at the hotel. It was in rough shape, but it looked like it could offer some shelter*
Too bad... So this is the place, huh ? Looks solid enough.
*Reiko inspected the building some more to let Akari go in first.*
*Akari went into the building. It was empty, but it had some food and running water*
Huh... I guess everyone already left...
Good for us, that's more food left. And if the infected left with them, that would be even better.
*Reiko took one of the sweets left on a table*
So what's the plan now ? Stay hidden until this whole thing is over ? Sounds good to me !
*She went to inspect a room without waiting for an answer*
We should probably barricade the entrances and make sure there's no spots where they can enter. Otherwise, I have no other ideas
Securing the whole building would be a pain. Let's just find one area with food, water and comfy beds and barricade ourselves here.
That's fair, but it also gives us more escape routes in case we need them
True. Have you already been here before ?
*Reiko shifted her attention on a map of the building indicating the emergency exits*
Not really, but I used to see it when passing by
*Akari blocks the main door with some furniture, and starts looking for any materials they could use to barricade other entrances*
You can take that table and put it on the emergency exit over there.
*Aside from giving some directions, Reiko showed no sign of wanting to help Akari barricade the place.*
Hey, can you help? You're gonna stay here too, after all
I can't, I'm injured.
*She showed a bandage wrapped around her arm*
See ? Can't take the risk to make it worse without any doctors around.
*In reality Reiko wasn't hurt, she just put a bandage on to get the sympathy of other survivors she could meet*
*Unfortunately, Akari fell for it. She proceeded to spend the next 2 and a half hours barricading any entrances and reinforcing windows*
*Reiko followed her progress with a watchful eye, indicating any spots she could have missed*
That seems pretty good ! Let's just hope it holds well against whatever is outside.
That was exhausting...
Hey, want me to take a look at your injury? I know a little bit about injuries. Lemme grab the first aid kit
No no, I think I'm good ! We better um... save our bandages for when we really need them ! I put on that one not long before we met, it would be wasting it to change it right now.
Come on, like you said, we can't take the chance of it getting worse without doctors around. What if it gets infected? Plus, you don't need to change it.
*She talked while facing the first aid kit, turning to Reiko holding some hydrogen peroxide and merthiolate*
I'm telling you it's fine ! I already made sure it wouldn't get infected.
*Reiko put her arm away from Akari*
Alright, alright! Sorry for asking, i guess.
*Akari put everything back in its place and closed the first aid kit*
Now what? We just wait?
I guess so.
*She walked away*
I'll be in one of the rooms taking a nap if you're looking for me !
That's ok. I'll keep a look out and we'll switch places later, if that's ok with you
Okay !
*Reiko laid in the bed of the nicest room she could find. With Akari to do all the chores for her, maybe this apocalypse wouldn't be so bad after all !*
*Akari resigned herself to guard the place while Reiko rested her "injury". She was tired, both from walking here and from barricading the place, but yet she stood*
*Reiko should have fallen asleep easily but, instead of that, she was sighing in her bed, wide awake. For some reason, every time she closed her eyes, a scene from earlier that day replayed in her head.*
*Michi. That girl really was the start of Reiko's problems. She didn't know why she was still thinking about her. Michi got infected, Reiko ran away, end of story. There wasn't much she could have done for her anyway, so saving her own skin was the best thing to do, right ?*
*But still, the voice of Michi called out to her and begging her to stay wouldn't leave her mind. It probably wasn't even Michi anymore, since she told Reiko to run away just a minute before that, and yet it made Reiko feel... bad ? Why ?*
*Reiko left the bed to look around the room. If she couldn't sleep, she had to find another way to pass time. Besides, she also wanted to test the limit of Akari's patience and see how long she could be left alone.*
*A loud sound can be heard outside Reiko's room. It seems Akari passed out due to exhaustion while standing, collapsing into the ground and hitting her head on a table hard. She's currently unconscious*
*Reiko rushed outside, a homemade bomb from Rui's room in hand. She relaxed a bit when she realized they weren't attacked by monsters*
Ugh, did you really have to do that here ? You could've just gone to a room.
*She muttered to Akari's uncounscious body*
Now I guess I'll have to put you somewhere else, so that when you wake up you realize I took care of you and you can be ready to do all the work for me. Yeah that's a good plan. But it's still annoying that you collapsed here, dumbass !
*She lifted Akari and tucked her in a bed, before sitting in a chair in the same room. She wanted to at least act worried when the other girl would wake up.*
*Akari was surprisingly hard to carry when unconscious, even though she wasn't that heavy in the first place*
*A few hours later, she opened her eyes. She was still in a rough spot. Her head hurt, both from the impact and from being unconscious, but she was starting to come to her senses*
Finally awake ! You almost scared me for a moment there. Next time, try to pass out in a bed !
*Akari blinked at Reiko. She didn't know what was happening. The only thing she knew was that her head hurt like hell*
Hey, you good ? Come on, say something ! Did hitting your head make you lose your voice ?
W-what happened?
*she tried to sit, but her head throbbed in protest, causing her to lay down again*
You tell me ! I heard you falling while i was resting and i found you uncounscious on the ground. If i didn't carry you here, you would still be on the floor over there !
Why did you pass out so suddenly ?
I... Don't know
*she tries to remember, but all it does is make her grunt in pain*
*She sighed.*
Well, at least you're awake now, that's what matters the most. How do you feel ? Do you think you can get up ?
I'm fine...
*she once again tried to get out of bed, but almost collapses*
*A girl, running away from her infested home, finds herself lost in the middle of nowhere. She notices you, and quickly makes her way over*

*A girl, running away from her infested home, finds herself lost in the middle of nowhere. She notices you, and quickly makes her way over*
Ah! Another person! I was starting to think everyone had either died or fled. Are you alright?
@akarihitori

*A girl, running away from her infested home, finds herself lost in the middle of nowhere. She notices you, and quickly makes her way over*
Ah! Another person! I was starting to think everyone had either died or fled. Are you alright?
@akarihitori
