hii okay so firstly, i love your work, foresight is easily in my top five bnha fics. secondly, how did you come up with the ideas for it and the no quirk au? i’m so curious about your thought process behind your writing because both fics are really unique, and kind of convey a sense of izuku being swept along by the universe’s current. how do you do it

Hi! Glad you enjoyed it!!

As for the thought process for my writing…I really have no idea. It starts when I get hit with a cosmic ray of the original premise, then I pick at it until a bunch of character moments and plot threads fall out. Then once I physically begin writing I start getting more and more ideas until the final product is completely distinct from whatever idea I had originally.

Also, I guess a similarity between Foresight and no quirk is that in both of them I spent a lot of time as the author working out what was going on in the outside world while making sure that they were as clueless as possible—which I think is what granted it the particular flavor of nonsense lmao

Hello! I just read Foresight for the first time and loved it! Like MHA meets Eminence in Shadow but the protag knows the danger he’s in. The AN said it might take a while for a sequel, but since it’s already kind of been a while I figured I’d check in.

I'm glad you liked it! Also I'm adding that to my list of shows/books/etc that people have told me Izuku's powers are similar to and you can't stop me, I'm making a collection and it's very dear to me.

As for the sequel...well, it's a work in progress. The problem is mostly that I have a job and social life that gets in the way of me being able to get obsessed with writing the way I used to (tragic). What I can tell you is that the portion I've written so far is nearly the length of Foresight and I'm only about halfway through my outline lmao

Heyyy! So I’m trying to make art abt Foresight, and I’m working on things with Slingshot and Leader right now. I’m not really sure how to draw them beyond general stuff (hair color and personality) and I wanted to know if you had any hairstyles, outfits, face inspo, general vibes that I could pull from to design them? Idk if that made sense lol I am so tired rn

Anyway...I'm not actually sure how much I can help as I don't usually have a very clear mental image of the characters that I write, but there are a couple things that I'm not sure if I said out loud about Slingshot and Leader that might be helpful:

Both have pale silver hair that looks like they've just stuck their fingers in an electrical socket, any attempt to tame it ends disastrously. Are tall and thin in a gangly awkward way. Leader's in his early twenties and Slingshot is in her late twenties.

Leader is always moving, basically imagine a hummingbird. For clothes, he always puts on whatever he finds first in the morning, though he can pretend to have a developed sense of fashion if required for a con. He has a lot of scars from his misspent teenaged years so he always wears long sleeved shirts and pants.

Slingshot is much more sedate. Tends to be guarded and stiff if she senses danger. Spends most of her time being distantly amused at everything going on. Also, she had a highly dedicated grunge aesthetic phase that lasted from her teenage years to her twenties that she's moved on from but glimpses of it appear in her wardrobe.

Random fun facts:

They were not at all close when they were young since they functionally lived completely separate childhoods.

You didn't ask about Paper Cup, but he's a very solid, slow-moving guy who almost always is wearing a large, shapeless brown jacket.

Anyway! Not sure if this is the most helpful for what you're looking for exactly but I sure enjoyed thinking about these weird little guys. Especially since Izuku basically never payed attention to any details so most of it existed purely in my head before now. Cheers!
