(Akeem Akintola) David killed lion and bear while tending his father’s flocks. This was a traumatic experience for him. He didn’t nurse the experience as a risk to his life. He wasn’t going around with bitterness against his entire family who left him in the farm to tend the flocks. He took it as a marketable skill. When it was time for him to confront Goliath, he almost got disqualified because of his age and lack of experience. He told Saul that he should be given the opportunity to confront Goliath, he cited how he was attacked by lion and bear and how he killed them without any problem. On the basis of his testimony Saul allowed him to go fight Goliath. After killing Goliath David’s destiny unfolded; he came to limelight (1 Samuel 17:32-27). Those thing you have experienced can be used as a leverage into the future God has for you. Stop seeing pains and disappointments as bad things; they are valuable. You must give them market focused definition and make use of them. You entire life is a product.
