ok not gonna lie this all started on OCSN back when that was a thing I used. :skull: and then we all stopped using it bc we were concerned abt them using ai so now we rp on discord lmao There was a lot of extrapolation on my part on what Bad Cop was doing after LM2, so a lot of how I was playing him had some head canon stuff, but I did want to make it make sense. Luckily, people seemed to like my stuff so yayyyy :D Also was glad that everyone in the Monkie Kid rp area was chill with me interacting, but the reason that happened in the first place was because there were like, barely any active lego movie role-players on OCSN lol. Also, that was the only other lego media I had any knowledge on (aside from Lego Island), so even though Ninjago was kinda huge on there, I didn't really know what was going on bc I had only seen like, season 1 at that point.
BTW, Mayor was being played by @tes-draws-stuff! (idk if they use Tumblr that much though. XP)
but yeah basically Mayor and Bad Cop had a chance meeting in some multiverse cafe, and then they started talking online basically. Eventually, Bad decided he wanted to see what Megapolis was all about, and took a vacation there for a bit. He and Mayor hung out, and during one of these outings, Bad was getting nervous for reasons he could not explain (he didn't realize he was developing a crush on Mayor, although Scribble was catching on to it quickly). The two realized that they actually had a lot in common, with being the right-hand man of some powerful ruler and all. There was some bonkers plot stuff with the Lady Bone Demon returning, but the Mayor had started to like genuinely being the mayor of Megapolis. With some encouragement with Bad, Mayor decided to take a stand and defy LBD's wishes, and ultimately start to live for himself.
Anyways, Bad liked Megapolis enough, and he requested to transfer there for work. And that's how he ended up working in Megapolis.
It was a fairly slow burn before they finally started dating though, and even then, people who know them are kind of baffled by their odd relationship status. (Bad and Mayor are dating, but Bad is not quite out of the closet. "I'm not gay, I'm just dating a man." ...He'll get there eventually!)
Honestly, I really gotta make a post on my post LM2 Bad Cop but... I'm lazy. =w=;
