Blood for Flames[Summoning/Closed/Mikoto]
Boots pounded against the ground, beating in rhythm with her heart. Breathes came out short and hard, lungs trying their to inhale and exhale as fast as her mind wanted to go without getting much dizzy. The sole of one boot slip against the wet pavement cause her to falter a bit, hands stretching out to catch and try and balance herself to keep from falling. Instead she crash into a chain link fence there, fingers grasping the cool metal, feeling the cold bite into her flesh.
Kieli glance side to side then behind her, making sure the people who were chasing her before, weren’t no where in sight. She didn’t know why this was even happening, but the fact somebody was out to kill her without being provoke was sure disheartening! Why would somebody even want to kill her!? Was it because of this Grail War thing going on!?
She didn’t know much about it, just the fact she was brought here to be a Master to a Servant and force to fight against other Servants and their Masters to win this grail thing that grant wishes?? Pretty sure that was the jest of things but was it really something worth to kill somebody over with?!
Scrambling to push through the fence, broken links of the fence tug and tear at her dress while another scrape against her cheek, a red line appearing seconds after. The young teen didn’t even stop to nurse the small wound but just stagger forward and continue to run, feeling as something was fast approaching. She felt like such a scared rabbit, being hunted just for the thrill.
Where was Harvey!?
It was all she could think of before something cold bit into her side, tearing through the fabric of her dress and pierce her flesh, drawing more blood then the little scratch on her cheek. Stumbling a bit, Kieli hit the ground, one hand clutching her side as her vision begin to blur from on coming tears.
The old familiar sting came then warm trails of tears down her cheeks. She didn’t want to die here! She needed to find Harvey! They promise to find each other again! She couldn’t die here!
Holding back a sob, her blood stain hand reaching out for any help that she wished soon come, but knowing it was just wishful thinking.
Somebody.. Anybody.. just please.. help me.. There is somebody I have to find, to protect..
I do whatever that needs to be done to win this stupid war. My blood for yours, my bones for yours, my ash for yours.. Just.. please..
┌He really hadn't wanted much to do with this place. Master or not he had no intentions of playing along in this war when there were more important matters at hand. Such as exacting revenge for his fallen member. That and sleeping were the only things that the Red King wanted to spend his time doing. This war... It wasn't his problem. Even the with the wish... it might have even been too late by that time. Would he last through an entire war? The issues of being a king.
Lighting up a cigarette was when he heard it. The plea for help. Or rather was it that he felt it? The marks that had been etched into his arm dragging him to the girl. He didn't even need to know what was going on. One glance was enough to tell him that there was a serious issue, and despite his lazy nature he wasn't one to leave injured people alone. Even if they were strangers. Well, at least not injured kids. Mikoto stared down at her in silence. Crimson practically flowed off the man as he walked past toward the idiot who had actually injured her.
Fire wrapped around his hand as one hard punch into the assailant's stomach was enough to have them on their backs unable to move. Probably a broken rib or two with the force he used, not to mention the shirt was partially burnt. Once sure the stranger wasn't going to get up he walked back over to the girl and knelt down. A hefty sigh escaping. The cigarette being flicked in the opposite direction of the girl. Well fuck, he didn't know any first aid. At least it didn't look fatal.┘
"It's ok now."
┌Mikoto spoke calmly reaching a hand out to pat the girl's head. Any trace of the fire, or the red that had surrounded him moments ago. He ruffled her hair gently hoping that she would calm down enough. He wasn't exactly the best with kids, but it wasn't like he hated them or anything.┘
"Can you stand up?"
┌Hopefully a yes, if not he supposed he would probably be best off carrying her to a hospital or something. That would be a pain, but he needed to make sure she was all right.┘
