He heard screaming. People screaming.

The boy did indeed heard them, they were in pain. So many people screaming at once. He fell to the ground, crying. The child couldn’t take it anymore, this was too much for him. All he wanted was just to go home.

“P-Please let me go home… She promised to show m-me the exit….”

So it seems Spooky lied to the child just for him to move forward more in the house. Just to be end up as another victim.

☠ “ＤＯ ＹＯＵ ＢＥＬＩＥＶＥ ＨＥＲ?”

Specimen 8 closed his cloak, the screaming quieting down. He knew Spooky was sick, but bringing this child into this hell, just so they could get killed by the specimens. He had to admit though, the child reaching this far already? That’s pretty something.

No, he wasn’t going to think that was interesting. Spooky was probably thinking the same thing, and no way in hell was he gonna start thinking like her.

So it seems he doesn’t have any other choice now? Hide in this… person’s? Deer’s? cloak to escape the monsters. Quickly, he hid, clenching the fabric and hiding his teary face. Of course, he was quivering in fear, he just wanted to be safe with his friends.

And so, the absorption process was starting. His past victims were screaming louder, and he believed the child could hear them too.

The....Child...A child....

Spooky brought an actual child into this house.

Specimen 8 opened up his cloak again. He couldn’t kick the kid out, so he swiftly levitated backwards, away from him. He wasn’t going to play Spooky’s game. He wasn’t going to absorb this poor human child.

Spooky followed, just floating over. She just wanted to see if they could kill those deer actually. If they were brave enough and instead of running. So, that proved they were able to kill his children without facing consequences. How silly.

The ghost floated more lower to the beast. Her happy facial expression didn’t change, as if it didn’t bother that the specimen’s children bodies were just everywhere. She was right though, they tried to kill the deer for food, but realized they couldn’t and just kept going.

“They still have the axe though, but it wouldn’t hurt if they swung it at you, huh?”

Mostly the ghost was just trying to make conversation, but harm to his children were more important, she supposed.

The Beast floated over to the door leading to the woods, then stopped. Seeing his murdered children wasn’t going to help, and it’s not like the culprit can leave the house without going in this room. Oh, they’ll pay.

The ghost child spoke, floating down from the ceiling into the room. She thought nicknames would be nice instead of just calling them simple ‘specimens’. Though, the beast was unpredictable. The being would enjoyed her company… Or not.

The specimen immediately stopped what it was doing once it heard her voice, turning over to face her. The creature didn’t seem to like the interruption, but really, it was kinda hard to tell.
