People always ask me the question:"Hey, Akira, how can I have good vibes and gain good energy in my life? I know I work a lot and I'm just not getting the results I want." Or they tell me, "I do the same things, but some people get better results. Why don't I get the same results?"
The answer is if you are sending out good vibes, that determines a lot about your life, your results, and your relationships. Why? Because people like to be around people with good vibes and a good mojo. People just want to be happier! If you bring more good vibes into your life, then your relationships and friendships will also get better. Maybe even your business will improve too. So I'm going to give you three strategies today showing you how to bring good vibes into your life.
When I was a kid, I didn't have good vibes. I was an introvert and often bullied. I would always be lonely and by myself. It was hard for me to get over it, but when I saw very successful people and high performers, I noticed it doesn't matter if you are an extrovert or introvert. Sometimes, they are an introvert, but they have good vibes and good energy, so I think that's how they became successful. So here are a few strategies.
#1) Switch the Topic From Negative to Positive
The first one is change the topic you normally talk with friends or family. What do I mean by that? People just don't pay attention to what they are telling their friends or family. For example, some people like to gossip about celebrities and friends. Some people talk about how bad their boss is or even mention something negative in their life. It's okay to mention this sometimes, but if you speak about negative things in your life, guess what you're going to attract? More negative, right? So if you switch the topic with your friend, ask him better questions like, hey, how was your weekend? What did you have fun? Or what kind of book have you read recently? What did you learn the most? These questions, these topics focus on growth, fun, and inspiration. So if you talk about that with your friends and family, your life will be more happiness, more inspiration, and more growth. So just pay attention to what you speak with your friends and families. If you want to have more good vibes, switch the topic from negative to positive. You're going to have a lot more good vibes and good energies.
#2) Meet a New Group of Friends
We tend to stay with the same group of friends and do the same things every day or every weekend, but if you're going to become a better person, if you're going to be healthier, if you're going to be more successful, just meet and join a new group of friends. Join a new meetup group or join the gym or a yoga studio. Go to seminars. Anything you think gets you inspired and anywhere you can meet people who have the same mindset as you, people who want to grow. Join that group. That's how you change your life. If you keep seeing your same friends over and over, it's okay as long as you're going to learn something. If you want something to give you a new perspective, fresh energy, good vibes, then you should join a new group. Personally, I went to so many events, like personal development events, high-performance events, and even entrepreneur events.
When I was a student I always wanted to start a business. What did I do first? I started going to personal development seminars. I met some entrepreneurs and I asked them questions. How did you start? Who did you learn from? Do you recommend any other seminars? They recommended other seminars. I went to those seminars and I met a new group of friends and entrepreneurs that inspired me. They gave me good energy. Also, when I wanted to become more healthy, I asked a bunch of my friends that had more energy, more muscles and were good looking. I asked them what do you do? It's like, oh, can go running or we can train together. We can even setup a certain diet. That's how you learn, right? It's called social learning. So if you meet a new group of friends that inspire and teach you something definitely, I highly recommend to meet those people. You can go to meetup groups, Facebook groups, or local groups. If you're going to master public speaking, consider joining Toastmasters or something like that. So join a new group of friends and get inspired. This will lead to greater vibes.
#3 Strategy) Change Your Weekend Activities
Many people have their favorite activity on the weekend. Many people go get drunk on the weekends, especially on Friday nights. Oh, you know, Friday, let's go party. Let's go drink more then sleep in on Saturday and do what they've been doing for a long time. That's how you became who you are, right? So if you're going to change that, if you're going to be a little bit better, or if you're going to do something different, have better vibes in your life, let's say, okay, if you're always drinking on the weekend, I wouldn't say you should quit forever, but maybe one weekend you try sleeping early on Friday night. I wake up and I go hike with my other friends or I go to events I always wanted to go. I learned how to coach, write books and even speak in public.Anything that interests you, you should do it. Or I'm going to take a trip. I take a day trip. I'm going to go hiking. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to go to events I always wanted to go, a music festival, anything. So if you change the activities that stimulate your mindset and how you think, then you get more good vibes and good energies.
For example, if you change a small activity, such as drinking on the weekend, you will feel much better, and receive better vibes. So today I shared these three strategies. The first one is to change the topic you normally talk about with your friends and family. Focus on more positive talk. The second is to join a new group of friends who inspire you or teach you something. Then number three is to change your weekend activities. Do what you always wanted to do. Take a trip, go on a hike, learn something new, do something that excites you, something that makes you fresh. That gives you better vibes and better results in your life. Thank you for watching. I'll see you soon.
