♗ akutagawa is pretty much the kind of person who would not understand what exactly is going on. he’s already caught up with his coughing and such, but when he sees you falling sick, his emotions are mixed up. ranging from, “did i infect them?” or “i thought they were strong.”
♗ he possibly found out after returning to your shared apartment, and suddenly he sees you wiping your nose with some tissues........definitely not ten more already being in the trash. aku panic mode? aku panic mode.
♗ he panics. the first thing he does is run up to you because he thought someone used their ability on you, making you go all weak and tired. i’d like to believe he would grab hold of your face and hands very softly, worried that he might be too rough🥺 literally i can imagine his first question would be “who hurt you?”
♗ he brushes your fallen hair strands away from your already heating up face. straight up paces back and forth when he finds you coughing too. walks up to you, and tells you to open your mouth.
♗ “why...?”
♗ “.....to check if you have blood, duh. you’ve been coughing non-stop.”
♗ he’s very, very worried. no doubt. he wouldn’t want anything to happen to you, moreover getting what he already has.
♗ there are times where he would give you baths— very rare tbh. most of the time it’s only you because he thoroughly enjoys the way you handle his body with care. i would say he learns little by little; and proceeds to use whatever he learnt on you.
♗ to which a huGE idea pops up in his head. he reminisces the times you have cared for him. anything that would make him cough less. always, always reminding him to take his necessary medication (he only got them after you came into his life. he does noT take crap from anyone but you). giving him warm bubble baths, as you massaged his back. trips to the onsen; chuuya helps you with that, though it could be a pain even if it’s just to bring him there. telling him to drink water is his throat gets dry. once he had a fever, so you placed a cold towel on his forehead. he wouldn’t admit it; but he was so, so happy he got to lay in bed, especially with you by his side.
♗ so yes. this time, for sure. he will do absolutely anything to make you feel better.

he takes in a deep breath, grabs hold of both your shoulders, and looks right into your eyes. “l-.....let’s go get you a bath. under one condition.” still holding you, he looked down onto the floor - to which you could already tell he was blushing like crazy. your only response was a sniffle, with a soft “what?”, chuckling.
“just.....just let me know if i do hurt you, okay? i wouldn’t say i could execute it efficiently. i try.” your puzzled look turned into a softer, more calmer phase as you cupped his face with your hands. “you’re always doing amazing, ryuu. trust me. though i don’t want you to get sick—,”
“nonsense. the sickness is afraid of me,” he said, maintaining his sharp, stoic look.
sighing, you had to oblige. ryuu was a person tough to convince. but whatever he’s doing was definitely worth more than every treasure standing on mother earth. he made sure you got into the tub; not before putting his hand in to check the temperature. once you got in, he kneeled down and pulled his sleeves up.
what made your heart go all soft was that he did not complain one bit. no grumbling, not a furrowed expression to be seen. just a soft, concerned look in his face - with his hands trembling every once in a while.
“aku....? is everything alright?” you questioned, holding his hand.
“d-don’t worry about me. like i said, i don’t want you getting hurt.”
“and i would never get hurt by my love. i can tell, darling.”
his cheekbones was painted with a soft shade of pink, as he looked away from you, continuing the relaxing massage on your back. it was so good, all you could feel right now was that you were floating.
you felt your muscles relax even more, with your shoulders decrease in tension, your chest slowly unwinding from the tight knots it was once in. your body still had those uncomfortable pains, but just something from his presence began to take most of them away. you couldn’t help but smile at how good he was getting, and how capable he was when taking care of someone he cares for.
his sister came up to your mind; something that made you a lot more happier.

♗ he is quite the picky eater and you do encourage him to eat a lot. so imagine him taking care of you. he gets advice from gin if he ever does need help with the types of food he should be giving you. otherwise that it’s just observation from what you have given him.
♗ he’s just vv nervous!!! doesn’t want you getting hurt; he wouldn’t forgive himself for doing so hhhhh ;-; other than that it’s just aku being aku, the cutie patootie he is ehehe !

♗ will even go as far as to wrap you up in a blanket, and then providing extra warmth by holding you close. he has this smug expression whenever he teases you, so consider seeing this during the cuddle session UwU!!
♗ “i’m going to try something.” and he plants kisses on your cheeks, your nose, forehead, bare shoulders. he doesn’t show it, but he’s very attentive of your sensitive parts. he needs to see you smile because he knows falling sick is tough. painful and full of sorrow. so when you start giggling, he gives off this smile.
♗ “ryuu,,, thank you,” you buried yourself deeper into his embrace, sleep finally taking over.

He had an aversion towards touch at the beginning of the relationship.
But it was the kind of aversion you only have towards something that you desperately crave.
The only problem was that no one had told him that he wanted to be held.
He was so unfamiliar with physical affection that it made him uncomfortable, so he thought that he hated it.
But the first time you put your hand in his hair, massaging his scalp as you pet him, he leaned—almost involuntarily— into the feeling.
It was at that moment that he realized that he’d been afraid—afraid that, somehow, being so close to another person would hurt him, afraid that he’d lie on your bed of roses only to sink into their thorns.
But it didn’t hurt; there were no thorns.
That had also been the moment that he stopped being afraid of being close to you.
And though he’ll never like PDA (aside from possibly holding hands as you go about your daily lives), cuddling in the comfort of his own home became an unconscious thing, like petting an animal.
One second he’d be scrolling through his phone and the next second he’d realized that you’d been snuggled against his side and he’d rested his chin on your head.
Gin described it as “like living with two cats” because the two of you would frequently be in the same room (usually touching to some extent) just silently sitting there.
In bed, it’s not uncommon to fall asleep cuddling in one position but wake up cuddling in a completely different position.
(Once you went to bed in a honeymoon hug but woke up holding one another around the waist with your heads against the other’s stomach. Akutagawa still sometimes wonders how he got completely turned around without waking up).
Gin thinks it’s adorable, constantly talking about how much happier her brother seems now and how glad she is that he “finally asked you out” (she’d never really seen her brother hug anyone else before, the first time she saw you two cuddling on the couch she almost exploded).
He’d fake an asthma attack to stop her from embarrassing him if he could.
Akutagawa rarely actually says ‘I love you’.
His ‘I love you’s come in the form of initiating cuddles and doing small things for you (waiting on you before heading home, making sure you bring a coat or umbrella when the weather calls for it).
He’ll voice his affections if you ask him to, but it’s important to remember that answering your texts as quickly as possible and opening the door for you is a more natural way for him to express love.
That being said, the first time you told him you loved him all he could do was curl himself around you and will himself not to cry.
It’s really important for him to hear that sort of thing, because he’s got a lot of underlying insecurities and he needs to know that he’s not misreading any signals, you actually do love him.

coffee breaks (sakaguchi ango)
Ango stared at the still steaming cup resting on his table, eyebrows scrunched in confusion. It was the third time this week that this had happened. He would leave his desk for a while for whatever reason, to fetch some files or just stretch his legs, and when he would come back there would be a steaming cup of coffee waiting for him.
He looked around. “Tsujimura-san, do you have any idea who put this here?”
Tsujimura looked up from the file she was poring over and blinked, glancing at the cup and then back at him, “I’m sorry, I have no idea, sir.”
She looked just as confused as him, and Ango shook his head. Tsujimura had a habit of getting too lost in whatever she was doing, so it made sense that she wouldn’t notice her surroundings. Oh, well, whoever it was, at least they knew how he liked his coffee.
He sat back down in his chair and was just reaching for the cup when his eyes caught on the slip of paper tucked beneath it.
Oh? This was new.
He carefully tugged it out. ‘You should rest once in a while. xoxo’
It was a hasty scrawl, done in pencil on a sticky-note, and it left Ango even more confused than before. He looked around, as if whoever left it would still be around, waiting to be spotted. Obviously, there was no one who stood out.
He sighed, looking down at all of the paperwork still spread out on his desk. Folding the note and putting it in his pocket, he picked up the cup to take a sip, deciding that for the time being, he would let it be.
The next time someone leaves a cup on his desk, there is again a note attached.
‘Good luck with your latest case, and for God’s sake, get some sleep.’
Ango smiles at that, before folding it neatly and tucking it into his pocket, just like he had done to the one before it. The coffee, as always, was amazing.
Over the next few days, he received several such notes with the coffee, usually with something short, sweet, and encouraging. To his surprise, Ango found himself looking forward to these little pieces of sweetness during his otherwise dull day, and his mood would be a lot cheerier once he had got it.
Once, however, as he was returning after delivering some documents to the chief, he saw you trying to covertly slip away after placing the cup of coffee on his desk. He slowed down abruptly, hoping to give you enough time to make your get away. He didn’t want to embarrass you, after all. Once you had gone, he quietly slipped back into his seat, and as he once again stared at the steaming cup of coffee, the realization finally sunk in.
He had never expected it to be you of all people. Not that he was complaining, he had always liked you, and with your sunny personality and sincere work ethics, it wasn’t a surprise either. He just hadn’t expected you to pay so much attention to his well-being. After the initial shock, a small smile tugged at his lips. He needed to do something about this.
When you come to your desk the next day after taking a break, to your surprise, there is a cup of coffee waiting for you, complete with a sticky note. Beyond confused, naturally, you frown slightly to yourself and pick it up.
‘Your coffee making skills are phenomenal. Let me return the favour?’
You sense someone approach you from behind, and your cheeks heat up even before you turn around. Ango smiles at you.
“If the coffee is too terrible, we can also go out the nearby café.”
“O-oh, hey, Ango-san.” You say with a nervous smile, “How are you?”
He laughs, “I’m good, (y/n), thanks for asking. So, would you like to go and get some coffee with me?”
You pause for a while, before finally smiling, “Sure, I’d like that.”

Nakajima Atsushi
When it comes to sneaking a peek at nudes you’ve sent him, Atsushi’s downright paranoid; unless he doesn’t know he’s opening a naked picture, he never looks at erotic pictures of you if anyone else is even in the room. Unfortunately, though, the boy has a tendency to leave his phone behind and his passcode’s so easy he might as well leave the thing unlocked. Any pervert wanting a glance of what’s under your clothes just needs to wait until Atsushi inevitably forgets his phone.
The instant Atsushi sees someone else raising an eyebrow at his phone, his mind’s immediately rushing to the nudes stored in his camera roll. He dives for the device, hoping to grab it before they stumble across anything private. When he glances images of you naked crossing the screen, he dies a little bit inside.
Unless they’re stupid enough to say otherwise, Atsushi completely believes them finding your pictures was a complete accident. He only realizes what’s really going on if they own up to it.
Atsushi’s immediately at a loss for what to do; he feels like bolting from embarrassment and clocking them right in the jaw at the same time. Hitting them just doesn’t sit right with him, though; Atsushi settles for sending them a steely glare and storming off. Anytime he meets them afterward is painfully awkward; Atsushi simply doesn’t know what to say, and the tension’s practically unbearable.
Akutagawa Ryunosuke
No one guards nudes more jealously than Akutagawa; he’s practically Fort Knox when it comes to protecting risque pictures of you. If someone glances a sans-clothing image of you, it’s either because Akutagawa just received it, or they’re actively trying to sneak a peek at what Akutagawa’s girlfriend has under her clothes. Either way, the second he notices them catching an eyeful, they’re fucked.
Rashomon’s immediately humming against their neck, backing them up until they’re crammed against the nearest wall. This is one of the rare times Akutagawa uses his fists on someone; before they have a chance to explain themself their nose is practically at a 90 degree angle and spouting blood like a faucet. Akutagawa pauses for five seconds to give them a chance to apologize and beg for mercy. If they’re not spouting sorry by then Rashomon puts a few new holes in their body.
“What’s mine is not for your filthy eyes,” Akutagawa hisses before stalking off.
Nakahara Chuuya
Considering his status, Chuuya isn’t too worried about invasions of privacy. Still, he’s cautious with naked pictures of you; accidents happen, and the last thing he wants is an accident resulting in someone getting an eyeful of your body. So, when one of his subordinates keeps trying to sneak a peek after you send Chuuya a nude, it’s pretty obvious what’s up.
Immediately, Chuuya’s hand is wrapped around their throat. “Trying to catch a glance of something that doesn’t belong to you?” he bites, shoving them up against the nearest wall. As they slump to the ground, Chuuya whips out his knife, sliding it feather-lightly just above their throat. Using the blade, he lifts their chin so they’re looking him in the eyes. “Don’t ever try anything like this again,” he warns. “Get out of my sight, bastard.” If they’re not instantly stumbling up to bolt, Chuuya drags them up and shoves them out the door.
It doesn’t take long before this subordinate’s demoted; they don’t fall all the way back down the Port Mafia’s power ladder, but they’re pretty low. For the next three months, at least, they’re stuck with the worst, lowest-paying jobs. From the way Chuuya always seems to be in a good mood when he hears they got stuck with one of these jobs, it’s pretty obvious who’s behind this subordinate’s fall from grace.
Dazai Osamu
Dazai’s never been one for caution; unfortunately, this applies to enjoying your nudes, too. Sometimes, all someone needs to do is lean a bit to the left and they’ve got a full view of your naked body. Dazai’s no idiot, though; the second someone starts craning their neck to get an eyeful, Dazai knows what’s up; and he’s damn well aware they like what they see, too.
Deadly calm, Dazai turns to face them, an almost sickeningly sweet expression crossing his face. “Jealous of what’s mine?” he hums. “You should be.” Dazai gets right in their face before looking them in the eyes, his dangerous Mafia smirk twisting over his teeth. “But this sight is for me only, got it? Just like how you feel about…” Dazai launches into a terrifying speech, digging at every detail of their personal life—their lover, family, even their pets—until they’re shaking. As soon as they’re practically traumatized Dazai turns to leave, tossing a cheerful “Next time I won’t let you off so easy!” over his shoulder.
Dazai never says anything about the matter when he sees them again. There’s always a certain glint in his eyes when he catches their glance, though—a look that threatens ‘I’m never going to forget what you did’.
Kunikida Doppo
Where your nudes are concerned, Kunikida takes utmost precaution; risque photos of you are glanced over if, and only if, there’s no chance of anyone else getting a peek. If someone really wants to leer at images of your naked body, though, Kunikida’s phone passcode isn’t that hard to crack; they simply wait until the detective leaves his phone and then snatch the device before Kunikida’s even aware it’s missing.
When Kunikida returns to find his phone in someone else’s hands, he’s already a bit ticked. As soon as he sees they were in the middle of messaging your nudes to their own phone, though, he’s absolutely fuming.
Kunikida practically rips the device from their hands. His fist clenches in their collar as he pulls them up to look him in the eyes; his voice is deadly calm, but his furrowed brows and flashing eyes tell a different story. “You will not ever disrespect my lover like this again,” Kunikida growls. “Furthermore, you will respect what’s mine.” After releasing them, he grinds out a tense “Delete what you’ve sent” before storming off.

• Growing up with a sister means Akutagawa is perfectly immune to all ‘female’things that make weaker men flinch. If you’re hanging out while your uterusslowly kills you from the inside Akutagawa doesn’t mind grabbing you tamponsfrom the corner store and a bunch of chocolate, especially if it will get youto stop crying about whatever dumb laundry commercial you saw that was ‘toocute for life’. Akutagawa doesn’t do well with the emotional ups and downs, buthe’s not one to hold a grudge either. If you’re feeling more angry than you aresad during your period Akutagawa tends to stray away from things he know willpiss you off if you’re spending time together at his house. • Akutagawa is far passed the rumors of you both being more than friends, andif you don’t care about it then he doesn’t do anything to fight against it.However, if there is any vile or perverse conversation going on about you, orif a subordinate has the balls to ask how good you are in bed Rashomon all butrips their intestines out within seconds. The only reason he serves them awarning over a trip to hell is because Chuuya would be livid if he killed amember for something as simple as a shit question. If anything Akutagawa haslearned cracking someone’s jaw in half is more acceptable. • The assumption that you’re together works more in your favor than his, but hedoesn’t mind fending off creepy people trying to get in your pants when you’reboth just trying to enjoy a night at the bar together. Akutagawa doesn’t evenhave to try and be intimidating. Him sitting next to you is usually enough toward off any unwanted attention thrown you way. But, if they happen to slide upnext to you while he’s in the bathroom he immediately stands directly behindthem and grates a very simple ‘move, orthe next breath you take is your last’ in a voice that would make any manshit his pants. • Akutagawa isn’t a hugger at all but if you’re feeling like shit or having arough time Akutagawa will let you embrace him. It’s less awkward because he’dbeen shown the same type of affection when he was younger by his sister and itfeels more natural. If you’re at his house or yours he tends to lay on thecouch and let you pass out on him especially if you’re more sad than angry. Ifyou’re somewhere in public he tends to awkwardly stiffen and just let you doyour thing. If you need a punching bag he turns Rashomon into the face of whoeverpissed you off and allows you to pound into it until you’re exhausted or readyfor a snack.• The first time he ever accidently walked in on you when you were changingmade him cough harder than anything in the entire world. He felt incrediblyawkward for weeks, especially when you kept bringing it up and making fun ofhim for it. Since then he makes sure to knock before entering a closed room you’rein even if the door is partially open. • Akutagawa gets a bit jealous if you hang out with Gin more than him, not tothe point of doing anything about it but he will sulk in the corner while you’reboth doing something, even if he was invited. Akutagawa wants his sister tohave friends, but he’s also terrible at sharing anything including your attention.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke
Akutagawa lays some ground rules when he first discovers your cuddly tendencies. You should never tackle him out of the blue; to even be slightly comfortable with your hand in his or with tight hugs, he needs proper warning. Know when to call it quits, too; especially in public, Akutagawa’s not a huge fan of being all over each other. He can only handle so much before he needs his personal space bubble back, and looking out for that line is incredibly important if you don’t want to deal with a cranky Aku.
Warming up to your hands-on habits takes a lot of time for Akutagawa. Not only is he unused to physical contact, he’s not a huge fan of it either; unless you’re pressed against each other between the sheets, he can’t see any real incentive in suffering waves of discomfort just to wind his fingers through yours when you’re going somewhere. Eventually, Akutagawa reconciles himself to the fact that this is simply part of your personality and swears to himself he’ll get used to your snuggly nature.
He starts out slow when it comes to personal contact; gradually, he works himself into holding your hand whenever you’re walking to the grocery store or train together. Eventually, he finds himself enjoying your fingers through his; when that happens, he takes it a step further and eases himself into slinging an arm around your waist. Little by little, Akutagawa takes baby steps with affection until he’s no longer painfully on edge whenever you want to curl up on the couch with him and watch a movie.
No matter how used to your cuddly nature he gets, Akutagawa does need the occasional break from your hands-on love. He’ll never push you away, per se, but it’s obvious from his clipped words when your fingers brush against his that he simply can’t deal with your normal hands-on-ness. Usually, it only takes a day or so for his cuddle-stamina to replenish, and he’s ready to handle your love again. If you let him approach you, though, he’ll make an extra effort to hug and cuddle you enough to satiate your appetite for hands-on affection.
The best place to snuggle with Akutagawa is in bed, right after he wakes up. He’s far too drowsy to be uncomfortable when you nestle your head against his chest and tangle your legs together. He buries his nose in your hair, basking in your warmth as he spots tiny kisses on your hair. Especially on days where you two can ignore the alarm and doze off again, Akutagawa loves to spend his mornings slowly waking up with you wrapped in his arms.
If he notices someone leering at you when you’re out-and-about together, though, all of Akutagawa’s reservations about affection go completely out the window. With no warning, he wraps an arm around your waist pulls you in for a deep kiss on your lips; that’s your signal that it’s okay to flood him with affection for a bit. As you’re all over him, Akutagawa sends a glare to whoever’s been eyeing you; Mine, his gaze screams. He punctuates this silent statement with his hands sinking down to rest on your ass. If whoever’s been ogling is still at it, even after that warning, Akutagawa either drags them into a back alley to teach them a lesson about eyeing up what’s his, or tugging you to the nearest dark corner to let your wandering hands run wild.
