Best dua on the day of Arafah...
Best Dua be said on Arafah…
The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:
“The best du’aa is the du’aa on the Day of ‘Arafah, and the best thing that I and the Prophets before me said is:
‘Laa ilaaha illallaah, wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-Mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shayin qadeer’.”
(There is nothing that deserves to be worshipped in truth except Allaah, He is Alone and has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is All-Powerful over all things).
(At tirmidhi, declared Hasan by Sh Albaani).

Wisdom...
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, “Allah said: ‘Verily, from amongst My slaves is he whose faith cannot be rectified except by being inflicted with poverty, and were I to enrich him, it would surely corrupt him. Verily, from amongst My slaves is he whose faith cannot be rectified except by wealth and affluence, and were I to deprive him, it would surely corrupt him. Verily, from amongst My slaves is he whose faith cannot be rectified except by good health, and were I to make him sick, it would surely corrupt him. Verily, from amongst My slaves is he whose faith cannot be rectified except by disease and illness, and were I to make him healthy, it would surely corrupt him. Verily, from amongst My slaves is he who seeks worship by a certain act but I prevent that from him so that self-amazement does not enter his heart. Certainly, I run the affairs of My slaves by My Knowledge of what is in their hearts. Certainly, I am the All-Knower, All-Aware.‘” Reported by al-Tabarani. Help of Allah comes with Dua ...
From Musab bin Saad from his father, he thought that he had an excellence above other than himself from the Companions of the Prophet -sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam- so the Prophet -sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam- said: "Indeed Allaah will only aid this Ummah through its weak; by their supplication, their prayer and their sincerity". Collected by Imaam Nisa'ee. Albaani said: 'This isnad is authentic upon the conditions of Bukhari & Muslim. Bukhari collected it from another chain from Musab from his father without the aforementioned details.' Shaykh Albaani commented on this hadeeth saying: 'Know that the explanation of the word 'aid/victory' which is mentioned in the hadeeth has been stated, and that it is not aid or victory by the righteous ones physically themselves, but rather it is by their Duas and their sincerity.' Then the shaykh mentions the hadeeth. [From Silsilah Ahadeeth Saheehah vol. 2 p. 409 no. 779] Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya & Shafqat Hussain.
I can't find information on how to pray for laylatul qadr... is there a certain prayer for it.. I'm so confused. :/
Asalaamualaykum wa rahmatullaah wa barakaatuh.Bismillaah was-salaatu was-salaam 'alaa rasoolillaah. There is no special prayer for Laylatul-Qadar, only a particular supplication which the messenger of Allaah would say. Aisha radiAllaahu anha asked the messenger of Allaah what she should say if she were to reach that night. He replied with: say, اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّيAllaahumma inna 'Afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'annee. The Hadith is narrated by Imaam Tirmidhi who said it's Hassan Saheeh. There is a version which has the كريم (kareem) in it but this extra wording is not correct, as the scholars of Hadith have explained. So increase in saying this dua in your prayers in the last ten nights. Wallahu 'a'lam.
