Yesterday I made many mistakes. I called my Dad during lunch. He asked me how I was doing and I vaguely implied my frustration. He was mudding dry wall while taking my call. He said how much he’d rather work and make mistakes than not work at all. At that point he took the reins of our conversation teaching things he always has.. mistake are how we learn la la la—- oh! Alayna I gotta go there’s a leak in my bucket *click.

Imagining that quick dry mud oozing all over and my Dad scrambling to clean it has made me snicker through the rest of the week. I love my Dad and I love mistakes ✏️😅✨

The machine and I in tandem running along fine. In the turn of a moment unhinged by time. Timing has gone ahead of us and we stay behind, tinkering to maturity. The morning rain gave hope for a flowery day and lunch followed with the hot sun -so why are my clothes still damp from the morning?

It’s time to dry, to let hope in.

There was no center back seam so I added a gusset on both sides of the back panel.
