for day 2 of @saucyjothoughts 's JO july drabbles, we got a little bit of stupidity today for a 2024 London era throwback; confession.

word count: 191 (bit over 100 words there mate)

"Uh- who ate all my biscuits?" Nace peeked into the living room from their apartment's kitchenette.

"Guys! Come on! It's the one treat he can have around here and one of you ate it."

"Bojan, sit back down," Jan tugged on the hem of his shirt.

"No, we need to get to the bottom of this."

"Bojan–"

"Nacko, let me have this." He turned to the others again. "Who did it?"

"Me and Jan were out to get groceries. That leaves you and Kris."

"Well I didn't touch those. Nace, I think you're sweet enough as it is, you don't need biscuits."

"Kris! I knew it."

"How do I know you weren't the one who did it and you're just blaming me to save face?"

"I wouldn't do such a thing."

"You so would."

Jan, Jure and Nace shared a look and quietly nodded at what Kris said. Seeing this, Bojan gasped dramatically and shook his head.

"I live in a house of bullies!" He cried.

"I ate them," Kris confessed later that night, after Bojan was forced to go shopping to atone for his sins. "I forgot they were labeled."

And today on a whim I decided to redraw it, since I by now figured out how to draw Bojan better, so here he is ❤️ (comparison below the cut)

I still like both versions, bit the new one obviously looks soooooo much more like him 😌

We have another surprise for you all! Do you recognise the young man in this clip? His hair was a bit different at the time, but no matter how we look at it, it was a real 'Success'! 🤭

🤫 This is a report snippet from the second preselection for MagmaFest2011, where Nace participated with his previous band 'Success'. They named their band after the English textbook.

sorry to krispost so much about the karneval but i swear during the opening of novi val after his hug with bojan i could just see the very moment where i think it fully hit him that this was real and they had all made it not just together for 10 years but also through all the storm struggles earlier in the evening. like he was looking at the audience in this pure awe but also kinda shaking his head in disbelief and sort of having to sometimes look away out of emotional overwhelm and i could just Tell from that shift in him that when he'd turn back towards the whole audience again he'd be crying. and he was. ofc i could see the relief and accomplishment from all of their faces and all of them crying both broke and healed me a million times but somehow the memory of actually seeing the realization hit kris in real time has just stuck with me very strongly

So, in this interview right after the gig Kris says 'that was all planned' about Bojan's pants ripping, which coincides with KK tiktok in where they shove the rips being in the design

Also Kris about the outfits:

He also also says they saw them right before Karneval. So, they had virtually no say about their outfits and his 'it's a perfect compromise' and Jan's 'sparkledarkative' is pretty much bullshit and an attempt to somehow justify them wearing these

Then, a day later:

Bojan pretty much says he didn't know his pants are gonna rip and Kris says he was surprised his outfit stayed intact. Meanwhile, Nace's very much didn't and there were pics in where you can see Jan's pants also ripping up around those little chains along the seams.

So maybe the fabric was so shit exactly cos it had to fit the ripping design for Bojan and Nace just got into the crossfire, or maybe the fabric KK bought turned out to be crap and they went 'oh shit, it's gonna rip so let's make it a feature and not a bug!!' I'm not sure even whether Bojan was that enthusiastic about his pants disintegrating on national TV or just had to go with it cos there was no other option. And when he denied knowing his pants were gonna fall apart it could be him trying to save his face and imply he didn't sign up for it.

Either way, this was not a collaboration, no compromises were made, they did not want dark outfits, Nace definitely did not deserve his pants ripping on TV, the fits were boring and all the ideas were recicled from the previous years - and all of that for the biggest gig of their career, celbrating their 10 years as a band. These designs were not about Joker Out, the designs were about KK brand wanking about their own shitty ideas, as it's been the case for a while now. If they have some sort of a contract going on, very much hope it ends soon so we can see JO wearing something fun, whimsical and quality made again.
