I hate that feeling of retroactive anger. Where you look back and wish so hard that you could have expressed your anger and your dissatisfaction much more clearly and intensely, but you didn't in the moment because of priority, reservation, or some kind of unnecessary caution for another's "feelings" - even if it was you being slighted and your anger was righteous. I feel like I end up martyring myself every time I end up in a spot wher expression of anger is actually needed, necessary, or important for myself. I just end up sacrificing it because I've tried to avoid anger my so often. I think I need a little bit of healthy rage to get out now and then. Someone come fight me. God that's the worst.
