“Our adventures together… are over.” “Over, huh… Don’t you say stuff like ‘adventure is over’, there’s still plenty left to do! It ain’t over yet! We can do it if we’re together! It’s a promise, okay?”

「☸」—» A breath was slowly exhaled from Alibaba’s mouth, golden eyes closed as his fingers curled around the hilt of his sword. The grip felt reassuring in his hands, and he was intensely relieved to have it back. He couldn’t say he understood what was happening in this place entirely, but he did get the main structure. They were under attack. Even now, hostiles poured into the city, and the screams of innocents were harsh in the prince of Balbadd’s ears. It flared a sense of duty in his chest that he’d had ever since he could remember, and he slowly brought his sword arm up, settling the blade between his eyes as his other arm was tucked behind his back. Right now, this place was his home, for good or for worse. And after losing the place of his birth, Alibaba swore not to lose another home again.
“ Stern and dignified spirits of etiquette, in the name of my magoi and my will to grant me a higher power, I order you and your members. Come forth, Amon! “
Alibaba Saluja would fight.
Dorian spoke with a voice like silk, “Don’t you worry. Your secret’s safe with me."
Here came the catch, "For a price.”
「☸」—» Was he being... blackmailed? Really, it was just Alibaba’s luck that as soon as he gets in this city, he gets into some sort of weird trouble.
“ What... kind of price? “
A sorry sight if ever there was one; someone with the misfortune of having lost something in such a small space. Distress evident in his crumpled form, it would be just wrong to ignore his plight. Crouching down on the opposite side of the grate, he peered through the narrow opening.
“What was it you dropped, sir? There’s an elevator that travels to the underground district, if that might help. You might be able to find it that way. Or we can find a way to reach it without you having to take your sight from it. Anything that I can do to help… if it means you get your something important back”.
「☸」—» As pathetic a sight as Alibaba made, sitting there kneeling before a drainage grate and crying, he didn't expect anyone to stop and help him. So surprise momentarily drove out the despair in his expression as he glanced at the would-be helper, blinking away a few tears. He was rather certain that if he was at home, no one would have stopped to help his pitiful plight. Maybe people here were nicer? The prince hadn't quite had the opportunity to decide for himself, but he did decide to trust the offer of help from this stranger, if it meant getting Amon back.
“ It’s a, um... coin. “ No need to go into specifics, even if Alibaba had chosen to momentarily trust the boy before him. “ It’s really important, so if there’s any way we can get it back without having to leave it alone... “ Did he sound desperate? Maybe a little bit.
❝ Oh, Alibaba…! ❞ it’s been quite awhile since she had last seen her friend, so she’s glad to see that he’s still around..though she imagines that he’s been busy tending to whatever. ❝ Uhm..there was a flower festival a couple of weeks ago. ❞ one that he probably hadn’t been able to attend and so..from behind her back she pulls out a flower crown made from brightly colored yellow flowers, all of different types. ❝ I was taught how to make these from a friend and I made one for you..I hope that you like it. ❞

「☸」—» What had the prince of Balbadd been up to for the last two months? Well... that certainly was a good question, wasn't it. One we might never know the answer to. Now, however, Alibaba was startled to come face-to-face with a certain young Fanalis girl, though it passed quickly in the face of Morgiana’s words. Golden eyes flickered down to the flower crown in her hands, a faint smile coming across Alibaba’s face at the sight. He hadn't seen a flower crown since his time in Sindria, and it brought back happy memories. And the fact that it was Morgiana giving it brought a red tint to the boy’s cheeks, the small smile growing into something more goofy.
“ You made that for me...? “ His voice held the stupid happiness of a boy getting a gift from a cute girl. “ I guess I have no choice but to take it, then. “
Speaking of starting fires, Dorian eyed the young man with a scrutiny that would make any seasoned warrior uncomfortable. The way his lips pulled back were akin to a wolf bearing its fangs. “Yes, very good. And convenient. You were the closest, after all.”
「☸」—» That gaze was uncomfortable. Alibaba would be lying if he said it didn't make him squirm a little bit, but he had to stand by what he had said... Anyway, the fire hadn't hurt anyone, right? He had just been trying out how Amon's flames worked now... nothing to be worried about.
" Well, you know, I was just hanging around... " He didn't look guilty, right?

here to stay ☼ alibaba
She’s seen him come and go twice now, he’s the same each and every time, but never remembers seeing her and greets her as if it’s the first time they’ve seen each other in awhile. And she would’ve been fine with this, had she not needed him more than ever right now. Hakuryuu was of no help to ease her, he only set her on edge even more with threatening to take her life. She had no one to turn to other than Sinbad and she couldn’t bother him with something like this. Alibaba was nowhere to be found and it was right now that she needed him most.
Hands trace over the plates she’d been given to carry out into the front dining area. It’s days like today where she feels as if she wants to lock herself up into her apartment more than ever, but with the kindness everyone has shown her at the café, they deserve to see her smile. So she smiles, though on the inside she feels as if she does not belong, nor does she want to be here. It’s not until she notices a customer walk in that she breaks free of her thoughts. Eyes now fall to the one who she is to serve and in shock, she drops the plates onto the ground.
She’d know that blond hair and familiar gladiator outfit anywhere. It was him, he had finally come back again. Ignoring the mess she’d just made on the ground, she moves forward and wraps her arms around his neck instantly and leans her head against his shoulder. ❝ Alibaba…I have missed you so very much. ❞
❝ Please tell me that you will not leave again, that you will stay permanently this time. ❞
「☸」—» Alibaba was lost. Completely and utterly lost. It wasn't a surprise, really, but he couldn't deny that it bruised his ego a bit. He wasn't really known for getting lost easily, was actually pretty navigation-savvy, but in this place, it didn't even seem to matter. Towering buildings of shining glass were all around him, blocking the view in every direction, and this tangle of streets was confusing in and of itself. He doubted he'd be able to find his way around this place even with a map, and it made a frown tug at the teen's mouth. How was he supposed to live in a place he couldn't even get around? How was he supposed to live in this place at all? The now-familiar ache of homesickness tugged at Alibaba's heart, questions about where this was, why he was here, what was happening back home, how he was supposed to get back all rising up in his mind, only abating when he was forced to shove them down. He couldn't address them now, when he was lost in the middle of an unfamiliar place. He had other things to do right now.
Golden head poked its way around the glass door of a building that looked to be open to the public, bright eyes squinting slightly as they adjusted to the dimmer interior. The place was... nice, to say the least, and smelled sweet when Alibaba inhaled. It was pleasant, and he was glad he had chosen this place to ask for directions.
His mouth opened to ask the question of where this place was when a clatter of broken porcelain startled the prince, eyes widening in surprise as he caught a glimpse of red hair before arms were thrown around his neck. For a moment, Alibaba felt nothing but confusion, but it wasn't long before the familiarity of the person hugging him registered in his mind.
" M-Morgiana?! " His tone was nothing but shock. " Wh-what do you mean? I haven't left yet. When did you get here? " He could have sworn he'd just seen the Fanalis recently, but she acted like she hadn't seen him in forever.

「☸」—» Despair settled heavy on Alibaba's shoulders as his eyes widened in dismay. This couldn't be right. Surely fate wasn't as cruel as this? He had always trusted in the great flow, but how could it have made a decision like this? Surely, he didn't deserve this? A black feeling seemed to rise in Alibaba's chest as he stared down at the grate in the sidewalk, barely able to see the glint of the coin hidden in the dark of the space beneath. How could he have dropped his metal vessel in the gutter? It was just too cruel a trick for fate to play.
" Amon... I'm sorry... " For the love of Solomon, someone please help him.
「☸」—» PLEASE KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM GYOKUEN AT ALL TIMES!!!

「☸」—» Golden eyes squinted at the... things...? puttering down the gleaming black path between the towering buildings that dominated the entire city. They gleamed all different colors, more vibrant than Alibaba was used to, and the light bouncing off their shining surfaces caused him to narrow his eyes to see them clearly. What exactly they were was a mystery, but if the prince had to guess, he'd say they were something like a carriage. Those were people he could see inside, right? They must just carry people around, but how they were moving without anything pulling them, Alibaba couldn't tell. Might as well ask... there were plenty of people around.
" Do you... know what those metal things are? " The person the question was directed at dressed a little weirdly, so Alibaba had to put his faith in the guess that he would know something about the weird vehicles.
