This city's gonna love me then leave me alone This city's got me chasing stars It's been a couple months since I felt like I'm home Am I getting closer to knowing where I belong?
she had been searching for a spot to study for ten minutes now. It seemed as if everyone had a break at the same time today and was studying. or they were talking with friends. as a more introverted person, this was alaska’s worst nightmare. she feared that others had noticed her walking in circles. she finally just sucked it up and approached the next nearly empty table. “is someone sitting here, do you mind?” she asked softly and placed her hands on the back of the chair. // @ftaislinn
· • ° ⁎ ⟡ 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗬 roman de grimaldi did not trust people easily but sometimes it was like he was a bloodhound and he just sensed something was off about a person . that was exactly how he felt around alaska bao , he didn’t trust her and he was fucking sure he’d get to the bottom of it . he sat across of her , fingers twiddling with a page of his book but piercing bright eyes focused on the other ; he was studying her just like he had went they first met , his lips painted with a ever natural smirk and fingers scratching the page he fiddled with . he was playing the intimidation game , a game he’s been learning from his father since he was able to understand . “ so , alaska . . . ” he started , this wasn’t going to end well . “ i don’t think we got formally introduced before , rome , roman de grimaldi . ” he smiled . ── ▫ @alaskawaterhousc
her pencil was being so tightly clenched by her hand that she thought it could snap at any moment. of all the places in the entire school for him to sit, he chose to be right in front of her. alaska did not dare look up to him, but she could feel him looking her up and down. she didn’t even know his name, but what she did know is that she was already intimidated by him and wanted nothing to do with whoever he was. she tried to keep herself focused on the organic chemistry problems in front of her, but it was soon a lost cause when she heard his voice. she ever so slowly lifted her eyes from her work in front of her. “nice to meet you,” she spoke quietly. alaska’s eyes then drifted back down to her papers, hoping that this could be the end of their ‘conversation.’
ʻ / wow , i am so excited to introduce alaska bao to our current students at cape coral . she is extremely excited to join the women’s soccer team . coming in as an 20 year old sophomore , they shouldn’t worry about fitting in . the cis female cancer has always reminded me of natasha liu bordizzo , but some people don’t see it . trying to keep the fact that she has been digging into her father’s death from getting around this school is going to be tough . no worries , though , cape coral will create a new life for them , i assure you . ʼ
*taps mic* h-hello .... i haven’t done this in so long but hello i’m b and this is my babie alaska, pls be gentle with her.
alaska is a new muse for me so things might bounce around a little bit, you’ll just have to hold on for the ride here folks!!
alaska waterhouse has lived in portland, maine her entire life, and she has only ever left the state of maine three times
the beginning of her life was pretty picturesque, she was the only child to two loving and compassionate parents. they didn’t have a lot of money, but they made ends meet somehow.
(death tw) at the age of thirteen her father suddenly passed away. her mother told her that is was a car accident, but now alaska isn’t so sure that her mother’s story adds up anymore. she thinks there’s more to the story that her mother didn’t disclose and she has been looking deeper into it.
as a young teenager she definitely didn’t fully process the loss of her seemingly regular life. to avoid that she just stuck her nose in a book and kept her head down. in high school she was a straight a student and total sweetheart
she applied all over for college, but due to her and her mother’s severe lack of money she started off at community college. she wasn’t even sure if she’d be able to go to a 4-year college after finishing community college, but when the scholarship opportunity arose she didn’t pass up the chance.
she was shocked to be awarded the scholarship, and honestly terrified. cape coral was so DIFFERENT from everything she had ever experienced. she made it her mission to just try and fit in and be normal. she didn’t want to be “alaska the scholarship girl,” she just wanted to be “alaska the normal girl”
at cape coral she’s taken up a liking of the girl’s soccer team, she played in high school and just started picking it up again at cape coral. she’s relatively new and still getting the hang of things
overall just a bean who needs to be cared for because she doesn’t know whats going on???
some plot ideas ig???? idk im here for anything
friends from community college!!
a new friend teaching her the ways of cape coral
perhaps non-scholarship or big family students who resent her
teammates or classmates !!
honestly give me someone who doesn’t know that she’s on scholarship
also an unrequited love pls god she falls so easily !
