Hello may I please ask 2 misd questions my first one is how would the hotel gang react when they find out alastor has a wife and 2 what would readers sinner form be like ?

Of COURSE you can ask a 2 for one question!

1- At time of S1, Husk would already know about MisDReaderas Alastor's partner. As for the others, assuming they don't otherwise know about her already, there would be shock and surprise all around. Alastor isn't a man that one would expect to have a soft side and the idea of falling in love and marrying- that's a pretty soft concept, esp in modern western cultures.

2- Reader's sinner form! I haven't actually settled on it yet, though I intend to keep it not largely relevant to the series so readers can make changes to place themselves in the story as they like. I'm torn between a classic doe: prey animal, hunted, a obvious match to Alastor OR a more humanoid housecat: A killer in their own right but often kept contained, locked away.

so on that note, I'd love to know what readers think MisDReader's sinner form should be and why.

MisD's birthday may be coming to a close but we're answering questions for a few more days yet!

I do like the housecat comparison. Cats are just known to be on the more sadistic side, and while Reader is a killer in her own right for sure, she's not a.. rip limbs off and watch them suffer type of killer.

Definitely not thinking about how my own cat treats bugs or anything...

She's more of a victim of circumstance. At least how I see her given the current events of MisD. Sure, something could come in the next few chapters or one shots that change that - maybe once the adrenaline's worn off somewhat and she's started to process her hand in L's fate. Just not right now.

On the other hand, I could totally see Reader as a doe. Obvious parallel to Alastor aside, they are incredibly protective of their own and known to be very aggressive when the situation calls for it, which is quite the mirror to how Reader has been since meeting Alastor. One sees a doe and thinks prey animal, hunted; they underestimate them, and then get injured due to their arrogance.

I actually don't think anything suits Reader better than being a doe. Reader killed, yeah, but it wasn't out of a desire to harm so much as a desire to protect Alastor and free herself from L's chains.

Again, this is just off the information we have currently. Maybe Reader ends up realizing she liked killing L and wants to do it more, and she is more of a housecat!

Catching the field mice that would come into the house in the winter and playing catch and release with it until... it couldn't run any more. And then throwing it himself so he could go chase it.

Feeding the poor thing to my dog was a mercy when I found it

I watched my cat chase a bug around and remove limb by limb for an hour until it finally just stopped moving.

I honestly don't know if everyone else enjoys watching Alastor murder as much as I enjoy writing them lol

Girl I LOVE the murder stuff. Maybe it's just me having grown up on crime dramas and roleplaying assassins in games, but I love all the blood! Honestly I usually prefer that over the smut, even. I wonder what that says about me lol

It's really well done too, I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing the monstrous, murder-y part of Alastor shine through during MisD.

I mean I said similarly in one of my comments on AO3, but I'm on the edge of my seat wondering just how they're going to manage to recover from this. If they recover from this. From a crime scene, covering up a murder perspective - not so much emotionally. I think they're more or less set there. In theory, at least.

The smut is good and I'm reeling over that, we finally got to the burn part of the slow burn, but I'm also like "THERE IS A BODY THERE. THE LONGER YOU LEAVE IT THE HARDER IT WILL BE TO REMOVE THE EVIDENCE."

Priorities, I guess, ahaha!

I do get the smut thing though. I attempted kinktober last year and burned myself out so bad I haven't written anything smutty since.
