every fiber in his being told him to turn this person away, to turn his back and move along himself but..
a certain ex-archon had explained to him how it should be. he should never turn his back on people in need - no matter his own reservations, not even when that includes inviting someone into what he made into his home, or at least a place to stay in when he wasn’t in the right headspace to crash at the inn.
