Aww this is so so cute! Valarr seems like such a sweet and adoring father here Are there more infos on these (your?) OC's and their story/life?
yes, valarr is a sweet father. i donât believe we know him enough but considering he had few stillborns before, i think he would yearn to be a father & would be really happy to have kids once he has them. it also helps that baelor was likely a good father to him, so he tries to emulate that fatherhood with his children.
as for my (oc) Alayne is the unacknowledged bastard of Lord Ashford. she is a bit older than gwin. her mother was a common woman and had died giving birth to her. from a young age sheâd been a servant. I donât think Lady Ashford likes her very much, but I imagine that while sheâs unacknowleged, Lord Ashford is kinder to her. Think Ned Stark/Catelyn/Jon Snow dynamic lol. Alayne met Valarr when he went to Ashford for the tourney.
I think Alayne is a mix of Alys Harroway, Lyanna Stark, Jenny of Oldstones and Megette (thereâs a common theme here⊠sorta)
Her romantic relationship with Valarr is obviously forbidden considering sheâs a servant⊠I imagine Valarr to be sort of love struck with her, kind of like how Rhaegar is painted to be with Lyanna. Considering Valarr already has a wife, his eventual elopement with Alayne is even more scandalous and problematic.
Valarr is going to have his Duncan the Small moment in the future⊠sorta đ
helaena portraying the symbolism of her dreams through embroidery is peak character trait. it seems she hasn't really stopped seeing aemond ever since the balcony scene (the moment that deeply scarred him + convinced him he'd "ruined everything")
