A/N: This is an AU where the outbreaks never occurred and no one dies, STARS exists so does Umbrella but the two don’t meet. Wesker is the age he is in the first Resident Evil game.
Y/N’s POV I was finishing up getting for a very special event I was really excited my boyfriend of 3 years was coming to visit me, I was home for a week as a break from my College. I was of course worried given I have two problems well two people to worry about, which are my younger brother Jake and our dad Albert Wesker or Captain Wesker as he is known around here. Since the pair are really protective of me, after the death of mine and Jake’s mom died and I am the only girl in the family.
Once I was ready I headed downstairs and entered the kitchen where my younger brother was eating his breakfast, my dad was looking over some paperwork before he goes to work. “What are you getting all dressed up for, sis?” Jake asked as he looked up from his breakfast (which was some cereal and a red apple) once I had reached the fridge. I was about to answer Jake as I opened the fridge and pulled out the carton of my juice (YFJF), only to freeze when I noticed my dad had looked up from his paperwork. “Well, my dear Y/N answer your brother.” I bit my lip in response to my dad’s voice.
Wesker knew instantly his daughter was hiding something from him, “Jake, I need to speak with your sister alone.” Jake nodded and left the kitchen with his apple. While Wesker sat crossed armed looking at his 19 year old (YHC) daughter, “Dearheart, I know when you’re hiding something you might as well tell me.” Wesker stated as he removed his infamous trade mark shades (as they were known as at the RPD).
He put them in his shirt pocket before he looked at his daughter Y/N knew her dad was serious, she begun to fiddle with the hem of her over sized hoodie. “Dear– “Myboyfriendiscomingtovisit!” Y/N unexpectedly blurted out which surprised her dad to say the least. Wesker looked at her rather puzzled “I beg your pardon, could you please repeat that dear. Just take your time.” Wesker tried his best to keep his voice as calm as possible, in his mind he hoped he wouldn’t scare his only daughter if he raised his voice to her.
Y/N took a few moments then spoke again, “What I said was my boyfriend is coming to visit, dad.” Wesker looked at his daughter straight in the eye. “Oh.” Was all Wesker had to say after he learnt the reason Y/N was so happy, as well as why she was dressed as she was not to mention why she had avoided answering Jake’s question earlier. Y/N was now worried given her dad had gone quiet after hearing of her beloved boyfriend coming to visit.
“What is his name?” Wesker asked he wanted to learn about his daughter’s boyfriend before he came to visit, Y/N was unsure how to take her dad’s interest in learning about her boyfriend. “His name is Piers, Piers Nivans.” Y/N shakingly answered her dad’s question, her head was down as she waited for a lecture from her dad. But he didn’t lecture instead he lifted her chin up so he could see his daughter’s (YEC) eyes, what had happened next surprised Y/N.
Wesker geniunely smiled since he knew his daughter needed someone to love, he loved Y/N and Jake but it didn’t stop him being protective of her and Jake. “When does he arrive?” Wesker asked, Y/N looked at her watch. “Um… a couple of hours time.” Y/N replied. Wesker nodded “I see, I will see you later.”
He grabbed his shades from his shirt pocket and put them on again, as he headed out of the kitchen to tell Jake the conversation was over and it was time for him to head to school. Jake was in the dark about his dad’s behaviour as he grabbed his school bag, the pair then left the house Y/N heard the door shut and breathed a sigh of relief. Since things hadn’t gone as she thought they would of with her dad, she wondered what was going through her dad’s mind.
Time skip 18:30 pm Y/N was stood at the airport waiting for her boyfriend Piers’ arrival she had got a call from him half an hour earlier. Wesker and Jake were with her since they weren’t going to let her wait in the airport alone, Y/N had a sign with Piers’ name on it which she had made that day while Wesker and Jake were out. She looked around for her boyfriend then she caught a glimspe of short brown hair with a spiked up fringe.
“PIERS!” Y/N called in a hope it was Piers
