indefinite hiatus notice

hey guys. i hate to do this with a blog i've actually put a good amount of effort into, but i'm just not feeling nicolas. ever since i got into roleplaying on tumblr, i've loved the idea of having more than one muse i really adore, but so far, i haven't been able to find anyone that really clicks perfectly except rose. i've had a number of other blogs preceding this one and i'm sure, unfortunately, i'll have a few more before i ever find one that's perfect. therefore, this blog is going to be on indefinite hiatus for a month or two before either (a) being revived (b) being archived. i liked playing as nick but he's just not quite the perfect match for me. idk. i'm really sorry you guys. i wish i was more able to stick with one blog but aas of rn im just? not. love u guys tho <3

ok so?? i havent been on in four days and in those four days ive been kind of thinking a bit about this blog and roleplaying blogs in general, and i've mostly been trying to figure out how successful this muse has been for me since i made this blog a month or so ago. nick's definitely a character i can channel well and he's certainly popular but playing him is pretty damn difficult. he doesn't lend himself to many plots and he's an old married guy with mythos and magic that happens to not match a single other roleplayer's on this entire damn site. so far it's been a month and i haven't done a single thread that wasn't a one-liner, i still have only 60 icons, and i prioritize my other blog to an extreme.

on the other hand, there's some uber great things about playing him. first of all, he's a lot more attractive to other roleplayers than rose. i view this as a bad thing a lot of the time, because i need my main bby to get love too, but in terms of playing nick, it's really nice. i have tons of incredible blogs following me because he's just an attractive and interesting character (at least at face value). he's an interesting twist on a well-known name. he has a personality i can understand and write. he's classy and cute and fun.

i don't want to abandon this blog, i just don't know where i see it going, and there are so many other blogs i could see trying that might end up being preferable. i've been looking to try playing some new characters but i can't see that happening with this blog looming overhead. probably the best solution would be to figure out soon if this blog's going to be an asset or not, so i'd really like to try some longer threads?? so message me if you're up for that?? and maybe in a while i'll figure out where this thing's going. ye ah.
