âSorry, did you say something?â
âNo. The voices in your head probably did.â

Paranoia started to kick in as he looked her in the eyes, a shiver running down his spine at how fucking calm she looked like this. Was she telling the truth? Dammit. He couldnât tell. He had no fucking clue how to read her with that loud noise echoing in his head. Without even noticing that he was doing it, he held his arm over his stomach, like he was trying to shield the scar while he quickly pocketed the change. âMy memoryâs been acting up. I just wanted to make sure I-â He stopped talking after laying eyes on the coffee. Fuck. He didnât feel safe drinking that anymore. For a few seconds he was just standing there until his senses kicked in again, telling him whatever the fuck was going on, he couldnât let it show. He offered her his most charming smile, shaking his head. âIâm sorry, I guess itâs me who has a bad day this time.â
Angel looked at him and suddenly he seemed to change. What was it? A feeling? His expression? She couldnât be sure but she almost pitied him. Almost. Angel knew she had to be so, so careful. This seemed like.. a close one somehow, even if she couldnât see what was going on in his head or why heâd pushed the question. I shot you, I shot you, I shot you. She felt nauseous and was glad her shift was now over, though she felt uncomfortable leaving while he was around. She did what she could. Forced up a small smile in response and shook her head. âDonât worry about it⊠I hope the rest of your day is better.â
Alec nodded, listening to himself breathe in and out so he would keep his cool. He couldnât show her that something was wrong with him, that he felt like sheâd triggered something inside of him. What if she actually had? He picked the coffee up and nodded at her. "Thanks, Angel. Your name truly suits you", he replied and turned to walk out of the coffee shop. He exhaled shakily as his legs carried him down the street. He turned to look around, as if to check she didnât follow him outside before he threw the coffee into a bin. His mind was buzzing with too many thoughts as adrenaline was pumped through his body. He hurried into an alleyway, feeling like he couldnât hold back how sick he was all of a sudden. Bang. There it was again, that awful sound that made him lean over and throw up right there, thankfully hidden from curious eyes. Fuck. What the hell was going on?

Madeline moved him towards his room, moving him onto the bed. She leaned down and picked up his legs, moving them on to the bed as she slipped off his shoes. She tossed them down onto the ground as she lifted her eyes up towards his face, brushing her fingers along his face gently. âI got you too.â She said quietly before slipping off her own shoes. She walked around to the other side of his bed as she crawled onto it. She laid down next to him, sliding her arm around his waist and scooting herself close to him, she used her other hand to play with his hair to soothe him to sleep.
It was so easy to give in, to allow her to move him onto the bed which felt so good now, like he could sink into it and be swallowed by the soft cushions until he had to face reality again. His eyes closed almost immediately when his head hit the mattress. He parted his lips, a sigh leaving his mouth as he felt Madelineâs hands on his face, in his hair, calming him in the fastest way possible. "I love you", he mumbled as he slowly allowed the tiredness to take over and get him away from this world. It was okay though because he fell asleep with the thought on his mind that he would wake up again and that once he did, he wouldnât be alone.
alec-jonassonâ:
Alec held his hand out for the change and for a second, no, just for a split second, her fingers brushed against his skin and what came afterwards was something Alec didnât know how to describe if anyone asked him to. How could one find words for the way he was startled at the touch, how could one explain the loud noise that rang through his head? Bang. He held his breath, staring down at his hand, at the coins that were now in it before he looked back up at her. âAre you sure?â His mouth felt dry and his heart was pounding so fast that he couldnât even make out a heartbeat anymore.
Angel stared back at him, blinking. She felt sick. Why wasnât he leaving? She was safe here, right? Her boss was right over there. She focused on her breathing and kept herself as steady as she could, looking him right in the eyes. Why was he pushing this? âIâm sure.â She said simply, voice quiet, staying right where she was.

Angel shook her head quickly. âNo. Thatâs the only time.â Shit and fuck, Angel hated this a lot. What was she supposed to do? What was she supposed to say? Angel wished she could see into his head but she was also glad she couldnât. This was all so fucked. She moved to hand him his change. âHave a nice dayâŠâ
Alec held his hand out for the change and for a second, no, just for a split second, her fingers brushed against his skin and what came afterwards was something Alec didnât know how to describe if anyone asked him to. How could one find words for the way he was startled at the touch, how could one explain the loud noise that rang through his head? Bang. angelxfrazierâ:
Angel forgot all about her name tag when she worked and it usually wouldnât bother her a bit⊠but the fact he suddenly got her name caused her chest to start becoming a little tighter. âUhâŠâ She cleared her throat as she acted busy before putting the coffee down on the counter and reaching for the money, doing her best to hold herself together. âI⊠yeah. Not that usualâŠâ Suddenly cursing that she wasnât Sarah or something normal, could she? âDonât.. meet many Angelâs.â
She looked nervous. Why the hell did she look so nervous? He could tell why. Whoever had sent him those messages, they were right. She knew him. Something about him. Perhaps about the drug business he was in. But she knew him. His heart started to beat fast but he stayed calm, eyes watching each one of her movements attentively. âNeither have Iâ, he said and leaned forward a little bit. âHave we met before, Angel? Other than the time you had your terrible day?âÂ
angelxfrazierâ:
Angel froze when she looked up and actually noticed it was him. She recovered quickly enough and turned to set about fixing up a coffee. âHm?â She asked, as thought she didnât know what he was talking about. âOh.. right. Yeah⊠well, todayâs been better.â Until now.
He nodded and watched her turn around to fix the beverage, not really in the mood for polite smalltalk. He usually didnât do that kind of stuff - at least until she turned to him again and he saw the name that was written on her tag. He paused for a second, mind going back to the messages he had in his phone. âAngelâ, he said and calmly reached for some money he could give her. âThatâs a nice name. Quite rare though, isnât it?â
âSorry, my shiftâs actuallyâŠâ Over. Angel smiled slightly and moved back behind the counter. âItâs okay. What can I get for you?â
âJust a coffee.â He tilted his head, looking at her as if he was trying to remember if heâd seen her before. Right. Broken glass. âI almost didnât recognise you without panic written all over your face.â
thcrunawayâ:
Her eyes drifted down to her hands that were on his chest and she didnât want to smile but she couldnât help but let one fall in place on her lips anyway. âNope. Just hoping you would show mercy.â Laughing a little again at how lame she sounded. âA style I donât want to hear anything more aboutâŠâ She couldnât help but smirk a little but she was being serious, especially considering heâd told her heâd slept with Madeline. She was friends with both of them and that would paint an awkward picture if he tried to get her brain to go there.Â
âMercy? Me?â He chuckled, as if he was laughing at her but took a step backwards anyway. Maybe heâd try again once she didnât see him coming but for this second he decided to leave her alne. He pursed his lips when she said she didnât want to hear any of those stories. âAw, sounds like youâre a prudeâ, he mocked, only feeling like giving her more details now that sheâd said it. âYou sure you donât want to hear about my sex life, babe? Iâm sure itâs better than yours.â
addison-clarkeâ:
She didnât think he was hitting on her, just looking, and she wasnât at all serious so she just laughed and reached her hand up to her face. âWhere? Here?â
âSomeoneâs joyful as fuckâ, he dryly commented although he wasnât sure if that was because she thought he was flirting with her. Hell no. âNo, other side.â It actually wasnât, he was just trying to mess with her.
addison-clarkeâ:
âLook, I know Iâm cute and all but staring like that is kind of rude.â Addison smiled at them because she was just joking. She just wanted to talk to someone to forget about the forgotten, irrelevant feeling that kept settling in the pit of her stomach.
Alec raised his eyebrows at her, a bit baffled by the fact that she thought he was hitting on her - at least thatâs what it sounded like even though she tried to make a joke out of it. âActually ... youâve got something on your face. Doesnât look nice, so yeah no. Wasnât staring because youâre cute.â
thcrunawayâ:
âHey! Keep your dirty paws to yourself!â A chuckle escaping her again as he took a step closer, she pressed her hand to his chest but very lightly in an attempt to keep him from breaking all the distance as she smiled. âYeah and the smart ones work inside⊠you know where itâs clean and warm?â
Alec stopped when she put her hands on his chest but only to glance down at them with an amused smile on his lips. âDo you really think thatâs going to stop me?â, he wondered because it was kind of entertaining to watch her poor attempt. âWhereâs the fun in staying clean though? Dirtyâs always been my style.â What an awful joke but sheâd basically handed him that on a plate.
thcrunawayâ:
âI think this is the part where I slowly back awayâŠâ Abi held her hands up in mock surrender, taking a step back from him as a chuckle escaped her lips. âIâm not sure I even want to know.â Her eyes drifting over the state of him.Â
âYou totally want me to give you a hug, I can just feel itâ, he teased with a grin and took a dramatic step closer as she started to back away. âSome people work, you know.â He couldnât believe he was saying that out loud.
madelinexpowellâ:
Madeline lifted her eyes up towards him. âIâm not going anywhere.â She wasnât lying. She wanted to have this conversation when he was more clear minded, when emotions were more settled than they had been all night. She shook her head at his words. âYou arenât dumb, Alec.â She said quietly, his words were painful because she knew when he was drunk he didnât have a filter to keep the secrets in but this time was different. He didnât have secrets to spill, just emotions. She noticed how he didnât move his feet from their spot, her eyes moving to look at his face and the expression on it. He looked at her in this whole different light and it made her heart thump a little harder. âWell. You got me.â She whispered, keeping her eyes on him.
Alec was slowly starting to relax, perhaps because it was too exhausting not to believe her, too exhausting to allow his thoughts to be so loud and keep asking more from her, to keep asking for some sort of confirmation that she was being serious and everything could be fine. Itâs all he wanted to hear and this was as close as it could get. âOkayâ, he muttered, tongue feeling even heavier now. He didnât know which emotion was stronger, if he wanted to hold her so sheâd keep her promise and not move from his side or if he wanted to be held by her, wanted her comfort. Either of them sounded okay to his drunk self. âI got youâ, he slurred with a smile and finally allowed her to push him into his bedroom. God, his head was aching and now that he was a bit reassured, sleep didnât sound like the worst idea.

Abi: Just to let you know I'm sighing right now as you can't see me.
Abi: I'm sure you'll teach me just fine.
Abi: When should I meet you?
Alec: Do you want my help? Then stop being a whiny bitch
Alec: At the gym. Put comfy clothes on.
Text to: Abi
Abi: Yeah! But no one else is interested in a defence lesson Mr Miyagi! Can you teach me solo?
Alec: Won't be very helpful that way but fine whatever, we can do that.
Troy: Found your number on a note on the floor of the club and figured Iâd take my chances đ
Troy: Some loserâs gonna be stupid enough to drop a number, they gotta deal with the loss
Alec: Youâre the loser here because obviously some chick has given a needy bloke a fake number
