Do you like reading? Do you find it an overwhelming experience, too?
Here’s a very small selection of some of my favourite writers’ portraits I have drawn. Can you name them?
A5 prints will be soon available.

Bloody Mondays
i.e., "The most awaited moment of the week!" Here's what really happens when I meet up with my chicks! 🐔🐔🐔❤
"Avere la luna storta" (literally, "to have a crooked moon") means to be in a bad mood, due to the belief the Moon affects our well-being.
Moka pots make dreams.
"Mettere i puntini sulle i" (literally, to dot the Is) is the Italian version of "to dot the i's and cross the t's", i.e. to pay a great deal of attention to the details of something; to be scrupulous. A very much satisfying art I have sharply refined throughout the years.

Off to Scotland, so here's a thistle 💜
anemianera"Vedere la luna nel pozzo" (literally, "to see the moon in the water well") basically means to fool oneself.
"Avere culo" (literally, "to have a butt") means to be lucky - very informal! I have always been culo-less.
"Dormire sugli allori", or "to rest on one's laurels", means to stop trying because one is satisfied with one's past achievements. The origins of the phrase lie in ancient Greece, where laurel wreaths were symbols of victory and status.
"Avere le pigne in testa" (literally, "to have pine cones in/on one's head") means to have bizarre ideas.
Thinking of everything but work.
