More mini paintings from the rats - they were super hyper during this photo shoot and Olive in particular even tried to jump the painting like an agility hurdle lol! I wish we got a picture of that, she really was so excited that she was running through all her favorite tricks! Finally we got a few good shots of her, and both Pickle and Omelet were a tad chiller so their pictures were a bit faster to take.
On that note, Pickle did her first smoosh paintings! These are paintings done with a zip-lock bag (see last picture), which is one of the ways I recommend people paint with their rats if they don’t plan to desensitize them to the paint first. This method is fun and much less messy, but you sadly don’t get to see their paw prints so I likely won’t be using it much. Still, Pickle did a great job and I’m proud of her for trying out this new method right in the light box! (Last pic shows Pickle making one of the smoosh paintings!)
As always, if you would like to commission your own mini rat paw painting, you can do so on our Etsy called “Rat Paintings” here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RatPaintings
