Ravens and wolves form social attachments with each other and take huge advantage of each other.
Both animals eat meat. When wolves killed a prey, ravens eat from the left over cadaver and scavenge it. Also, ravens lead wolves to preys or cadavers. The ravens fly and the wolves follow. Ravens also alert wolves to dangers.
They also play with each other. For example the ravens dive at the wolves and then speed away or peck their tails to try to get the wolves to chase them, or wolf cubs chasing after teasing ravens.
Dr. L. David Mech wrote in ‘The Wolf: The Ecology and Behaviour of an Endangered Species’: “It appears that the wolf and the raven have reached an adjustment in their relationships such that each creature is rewarded in some way by the presence of the other and that each is fully aware of the other’s capabilities.”
Also very interesting: Bernd Heinrich wrote in ‘Mind of the Raven: Investigations and Adventures with Wolf-Birds’: “Ravens can be attracted to wolf howls. The wolves’ howls before they go on a hunt, and it is a signal that the birds learn to heed. Conversely, wolves may respond to certain raven vocalizations or behavior that indicate prey. The raven-wolf association may be close to a symbiosis that benefits the wolves and ravens alike. At a kill site, the birds are more suspicious and alert than wolves. The birds serve the wolves as extra eyes and ears.”

Author's note: Surprise! I'm still alive! Although it may not seem like that for the last couple of centuries... I'm really sorry for all that waiting, but as you may know, situtation in this world of ours is kinda weird right now and my school took online classes quite seriously... finally I had a little bit of time to finish this part. Thousand years of merciless slaughtering of everything, that crossed his path. No one ever thought this was possible for him. And yet, here we are. Klaus Mikaelson found something he had never considered as such powerful. Love. Times have changed a lot and now, the only person who truly loved him, despite everything he's done, who didn't give up on him, not even for a second the person he let inside... had to run away from him to save her own life.
He knew the sooner they get rid of this fool trying to endanger someone they all genuinely love, the sooner she can return to them.
As he saw her turn around in that car, his grief turned into wrath as fast as he spun on his heel and headed towards the compound. His siblings understood his anger and went inside too.
He called every morning and evening. He wanted to be the first and the last one you spoke to, while you're so far away. His loving voice calmed you, although you could hear all the pain in it. The pain he was trying to hide from everyone.
He called this morning too. The pain started slightly fading away few days ago, but it soon got replaced by fear and anger. He was afraid they won't make your home safe on time, and angry on himself he let that happen and couldn't do anything about it.
''It's been three weeks'' Klaus was leaning on the table ''Three idle weeks of waiting.''
''Why haven't they tried anything?'' Kol joined.
''I don't know, but it has become suspicious.'' Elijah declared.
''What if they are waiting too?'' Kol thought out loud.
''For what?'' Elijah fastly replied.
''For our turn.'' Klaus realised and smirked.
''Brother. No!'' Elijah disagreed ''We won't strike until we're aware of what we are facing.''
Klaus rolled his eyes.
''I'll try to question the witches one more time if they don't know anything helpful.'' Elijah added.
''You already did. Twice. Those bitches won't admit it's one of their own.'' Rebekah replied as a reminder of her presence.
''If you have a better idea sister, I'm more than glad to hear it.'' Elijah said politely.
Rebekah kept silent, since she didn't have any idea what to do.
''What about Marcel?'' Kol broke the silence.
''What about him?'' Klaus asked suspiciously.
''He has his vampires all over the town. They must have noticed something too.'' He answered.
''You might be right... and I intend to find it out right now.'' Klaus said and swiftly got up from the armchair.
''On your own?'' Rebekah's voice stopped him.
''Yes, dear sister, on my own. If we all come, Marcel might not be so friendly.'' he answered and left.
Klaus got back in the morning. When he arrived, he couldn't believe his own eyes.
''(Y/n)?'' he whispered in shock.
You turned at the person calling your name. Rebekah stood by your side, so did Kol and Elijah. You started walking towards a man you had to run away from.
''What the hell are you doing here?'' everyone could see the anger in him rising above the happiness of seeing you in person ''You know you cannot be here, it's not safe.''
''You didn't call last night.'' you replied with worries, but kept slowly approaching him ''I tried to call you, but it sent me straight to the voicemail. I was worried something happened.''
You made one more step and both of you couldn't resist the urge of feeling each other. You reached your arms and he brought you in like you haven't seen each other for years. Although it was just three weeks, it definitely felt like years.
''I missed you so much.'' you whispered.
''I missed you too, love.'' he replied ''You have no idea how hard it was to stay here.''
''I'm really happy for you both, but that's not all. (Y/n), tell him what happened.'' Rebekah interrupted.
''What happened?'' he pulled back a little so he could see your face.
''Well, as I said, I couldn't reach you. So I called Bekah, she told me about your visit to Marcel. Then someone threw something... I don't know what it was, it happened so fast I...'' your breath started shaking.
''It's okay now, you're safe.'' he calmed you and caressed your hair ''Please, continue.''
''It caused fire. We tried to subdue it, but few another flew inside soon after. Our only chance was to run out and Cora called the firemen. I saw someone behind the house and went to see who it was when I heard her screaming. They... they attacked us.'' you broke into tears.
''Who attacked you?'' he asked.
''They were... hybrids.'' you said, not believing your own words.
''That's impossible.'' he stated.
''I know what I saw, Nik.'' you said back ''Yellow glowing eyes aren't so hard to spot in dark. We got into a car and drove away as fast as we could. While we were on the road, I was thinking what might've happened to you. I called Rebekah straight away, told her what happened and she sent a private jet for us. Cora stayed there, I didn't want her here, for her own safety and she agreed. She and her pack will take care of those hybrids.''
''But... how? How is it possible?'' Klaus asked in disbelief.
''That's what we have to find out, brother.'' Elijah reacted ''The fact they attacked the house with (y/n) out of all houses, cannot be a coincidence.''
''She might have been followed.'' Kol marked out.
''That doesn't make sense. Why would they wait till now?'' Rebekah joined.
''I don't know and I'm done with this. They attacked (y/n). Again.'' Klaus growled ''This must come to an end.''
''And what do you want to do?'' Elijah asked ''We don't have any idea who is responsible for this nor where to find them.''
An unknown letter fell next to the place all of you were standing. You looked up, but there was no one who could drop it. Klaus let go of you and reached for that piece of paper. As soon as he read it, he handed it to Elijah.
''I guess we now know who is behind all of this.'' Nik said with his teeth gritted ''When will she finally stay dead?!''
''What do you mean?'' you asked.
''Apparently, not everything you bury, twice, really stays there. Especially not a witch.'' said Elijah and handed you the letter.
Long time no see darlings,
I missed all of you so much.
We have a lot to catch up with.
I suggest we have lunch together.

''Wait, children?'' you asked surprised.
''Esther.'' Rebekah remembered everything about her mother.
''Esther? The Original witch? You're joking, right?'' you still tried to process this new information ''Nik?'' you turned at him and saw he was scared himself. Then you understood this wasn't a joke.
''So what? Your mother came from the dead, made a few hybrids, sent them to attack us and now she wants a family lunch?'' you asked sarcasticly ''Yeah, wanna see that happen.''
''Actually, it's not that bad idea.'' Elijah stated.
Everyone looked at him.
''Are you kidding? It's an obvious trap.'' you replied.
''Of course it is, but we may use it for our own welfare.'' he explained.
''How?'' you asked in disbelief.
''Negotiate. Learn what she wants.'' Elijah answered.
''What else could she want other than our demise?'' Klaus joined the conversation ''It won't be the first time she is after ending our existence.''

''Tennessee? Why there?'' Klaus looked confused.
''An old friend of mine lives there.'' you informed him ''You don't have to worry. She's a werewolf too.''
Klaus looked surprisingly at you. You've never spoke about anyone being supernatural creature beside them.
''Yes, Nik. I knew sooner.'' you chuckled slightly at his confusion. He was speechless.
''So, the first time we met, you knew?'' he tried to comprehend the news.
''Well, not at the very beginning, no. Firstly, I knew only about the werewolves.'' you explained ''When I met you and your wounds got healed later, I assumed you were one too.''
''You weren't completely wrong.'' he smirked. You chuckled at his remark.
''Anyway, I called this friend of mine and told her what happened that night. Just as I told her your name, she enlightened me about vampires and you, the originals.'' you continued ''Your reputation does really precede you.'' you tilted your head.
''You knew it all and you still didn't bother avoiding me?'' he got surprised again.
''I wanted to see for myself who I was really dealing with.'' you pointed out ''And all I learned through the time we've spent together, is that you did what you had to do, Nik. No one should blame you for that.'' you stated while looking him in the eye.
''Although, I must admit, you're quite a drama queen.'' you chuckled and he joined you.
''Please, don't be angry with Elijah, you know he does all of this to protect us.'' you said ''And while I'm gone, you're gonna need each other.'' Nik's eyes fell to the ground after your words.
''I'll miss you a lot, (y/n). You make me a better person. Not the monster everyone sees.'' he held your hands while looking at them.
''Look at me, Nik. You're not a monster.'' you cupped his face ''And I love you, just the way you are.''
After few moments, he closed space between you two and granted you a passionate kiss. You joined him. He vamp-speeded with you to the wall and almost everything fell off the shelves.
''Oh, control yourself.'' you remarked with a slight giggle while being pinned up to the wall.
''I have to enjoy every second with you until you leave, don't take this away from me.'' he said while holding your wrists above your head.
''You're supposed to leave tommorow and as I know my noble brother, he has already paid you a driver.'' he said ''My apologies love, but I just wanna say goodbye.'' he finished and smashed his lips on yours again.
You raced silently, unbuttoning and untying, all while trying to keep your mouths connected, your bodies close. He brought your thighs to his waist and picked you up from the wall into his hands. You found yourself astride his naked form until he gently laid you on the bed, trapping your body beneath his own.
Moans of pleasure were echoing throughout the room the whole evening.
In the morning, you came to yourself, still wondering about last night, spent with the man you loved but couldn't be with, hoping it wasn't your very last evening. After a while, you realized that on the other side of the bed rested only cold sheets. You swiftly got up from the bed. Sheets that were covering your form fell on the ground and you became aware of your naked body. You immediatelly headed to the commode to grab yourself something to wear, when the door opened.
''Good morning love.'' Nik slid his head through the gap of slightly ajar door. Seeing your bare body, his lips curved into a smile.
You turned at him with an annoyed expression.
''You know, knocking is still a thing.'' you remarked sarcastically trying to cover yourself with the cloths you grabbed instincitively. He chuckled, slipped into the room and closed the door behind him.
''What might I see I haven't before?'' he opposed.
''Nothing, but it's uncomfortable.'' you replied, now not caring about his presence while looking for those clothes of yours.
''There's no need to worry, I love every last inch of you.'' he said and hugged you from behind.
''But you should hurry, sweetheart. Your driver is awaiting outside, compelled to immediatelly forget the address you'll give him when you get there.'' he pressed his lips together in slight annoyance.
You finally found some jeans and a comfy sweater. He let you go so you could dress yourself. You turned to face him. His eyes were filled with pity and grief. A tear filled your eye and you couldn't do anything about it when many more followed the first one.
''Don't do this to me, (y/n). Don't make it harder than it already is.'' he wiped off those tears from your cheeks.
''I'm gonna miss you so much.'' you whined ''What if something terrible happens to you, to all of you?''
''Don't worry, love. Despite our family's conflicts, we learned to stick together when the rough times come.'' he assured you ''We'll be alright. It's your safety that matters.''
You hugged him as tight as if it was for the last time although you hoped not. Someone knocked the door.
''I'm sorry, (y/n), Niklaus, but it's time. The sooner she leaves, the sooner she's safe and we can deal with those who plan their revenge on us.'' Elijah appeared.
You didn't move away from Nik and he kissed your forhead. Then he grabbed your packed bags and followed you downstairs as you followed Elijah.
Rebekah and Kol were waiting in the hall. When you reached them you hugged them to say your goodbye.
''Be careful (y/n), if something happens to you, the whole New Orleans might pay for it.'' Rebekah chuckled refering to Klaus' short temper. You slightly chuckled through tears too. Then you hugged Kol.
''We'll miss you, darling. Who will now get my brother under control when he's at his worst?'' his 'joke' curved a little smile on your lips.
''You're going to have to do it yourself.'' you replied.
''I should probably take those daggers with me too.'' your remark lit up their faces a little.
Elijah grabbed your bags and went to the car waiting outside. You followed him with Klaus, still by your side. The driver opened the car trunk and Elijah put there your luggage. You stepped in front of Klaus.
''No matter what, I'll love you, always and forever.'' you said to him, your hands resting on his shoulders.
''You will come back. This isn't our last time together. I promise you that.'' he replied and hugged you one last time. After few moments, you opened the space between each other and as the driver opened the door, you got in the car. You sat on the backseat and the driver gently closed the door behind you.
As the car was leaving, you looked back at all of them standing there miserabely. Klaus especially. You turned away before another tear could fill your eye.

When you arrived, you could already see all brothers in front of the compound waiting for the two of you. As soon as Rebekah parked the car, Nik rushed to your side and the car door swung open. He saw you curled up in the backseats and took you into his arms.
''What happened sister?'' Elijah came to the car as Rebekah was getting out of it ''Is everything alright?''
As Nik noticed the blood on your hands, he didn't hesitate and brought you to the compound. His siblings went after him few seconds later. He found a comfortable couch and gently laid you there. They all surrounded you. Nik was kneeling in front of you still keeping his hands on you. Rebekah sat next to you. When everyone found their place to settle, Kol started.
''Can we finally learn what happened?''
Rebekah saw you were unable to talk about events of the past hours.
''When we left the mall, some strangers attacked us. One grabbed (y/n) and three of them were after me.'' she began ''They weren't just some rapists, they must've been hunters. They had vervain-filled syringe.''
''So what? You want to say that there are some new hunters in the quarter?'' Kol interrupted.
''Worse. We questioned one of them and he said he was just a 'messenger' and that this was a warning from our enemy. Nik, this is your speciality, isn't it? Who did you piss off lately?'' Rebekah turned the conversation.
Klaus' eyes didn't leave you for a second, probably in hope you'll finally say something too. He just growled at Bekah.
''Well, however, he fought back and kicked me. He dropped his knife, (y/n) got a hold of it and...'' she stopped while looking at you and your hands.
You broke into tears again. All of them understood what happened next. They somehow also understood that awful feeling of killing someone.
''Oh love, I'm so sorry.'' Klaus touched your head and than hugged you. You hugged him back and never wanted to let go anymore. Rebekah moved and made a space for him to sit by your side. Then you stragihtened your back and spoke.
''After I...'' you paused for a second ''did what I did, something weird happened.'' you stated ''A horrible pain stroke my whole body as like my bones were cracking.''
All four of them looked at each other and then mainly at Niklaus.
''And her eyes glew yellow.'' Rebekah added ''You all know what that means.''
''She triggered her werewolf curse.'' Klaus confirmed through gritted teeth.
''I believe that (y/n)'s curse isn't the biggest problem for us to deal with right now.'' Elijah stated ''If this was just a warning, what might we expect from our new-found enemy next time?'' he spoke. All of them got worried.
''Come on love, let's get you cleaned.'' Klaus stood up offering his hand to help you stand up too. You nodded your head and accepted his hand. He walked you to the bathroom and brought you one of his shirts. You could hear him stepping away from the door and getting back to his siblings to help figure out some plan. As you were washing the blood off, you were thinking about what will your life look like from now on. A werewolf. You've met only one in your entire life. And it didn't seem to be awesome having every bone in your body broken every month.
Meanwhile, Klaus and his siblings were conversating about the current situation. Someone was threatening their family. Quite a big deal to threaten a group of the original vampires and the original hybrid.
''What are we going to do?'' Kol asked ''They tried to hurt (y/n) and Rebekah already.''
''Do we look like we aren't aware of that Kol?'' Klaus barked out at him.
''It's more than clear what we have to do.'' Elijah spoke up ''We find them and eliminate them. No one threatens our family and gets to live.''
''But what if they'll come for (y/n)?'' Rebekah replied ''She can't stay here, with us, in the middle of all of this.'' she added.
''I'll take her away. To the other side of the world if needed.'' Klaus joined.
''Niklaus, we don't know what we're standing against yet. We may need your presence here.'' Elijah opposed ''Besides, you'll draw too much attention to her, anywhere you go.''
''I won't let her leave alone.'' Klaus said angrily and stormed out of the room.
You went out of the bathroom in Nik's shirt and went to your common room. When you opened the door, you saw some of the furniture destroyed. Your gaze followed the path of damaged parts, until it fell on Niklaus leaning over the balcony's railing holding a glass of liquor. Even though he could hear your steps, he didn't pay attention to them.
''What the hell happened here?'' you announced your presence, but he didn't react.
''Nik, what's going on?'' you came to him.
''My siblings share the idea that you should leave the city. For your own safety.'' he didn't turn to face you and just took another sip of his glass.
''Fine, let's leave then.'' you agreed while not getting his point.
''Only you. Without any of us, me in particular.'' he gritted his teeth.
Now that destoryed furniture made sense to you. He must have been really furious. So were you now too.
''What? That's insane.'' you opposed ''Why?''
''Apparently, I draw too much attention to go with you and my siblings have to stay here and face the new enemy of ours.'' he finally looked you in the eye.
''And I suppose you don't quite agree with them, do you?'' the corner of your lips curled a little.
''(y/n), love, if I did agree, your bags would be already packed and I would've been starting the engine myself.'' he admitted ''However, because I'm against my siblings' will, we have to come up with a plan.''
You didn't like the idea of leaving without any of them, but you knew it was the only right thing to do, even when Nik didn't see it yet.
''May I interrupt?'' Elijah knocked the opened door.
''What is it now, brother?'' Klaus replied with an annoyance playing big part in his voice.
''Niklaus, there isn't any other way and you know that.'' Elijah understood the annoyance.
''Why are you here then?'' he asked still being mad at Elijah.
''I came to inform you that we've found a witch willing to preform the cloaking spell.'' Elijah answered.
''You agree with all of this, (y/n)?'' Klaus turned on you with the last little piece of hope he had.
''I hate it just as much as you do.'' you stated and a proud smirk appeared on his face ''But... I have to admit... that it is probably the best possible way.''
The smirk faded just as quickly as the rage grew in Niklaus' eyes. His love joined those against him.
''The best way? How can you even think like that?'' he raised his voice and tears filled his eyes ''We'll be apart and you think that is the best way possible?''
''And if I stay? What would that lead to? Living like a prisoner in this building?'' you raised your voice too and he lowered his head ''Or if you go with me? It won't take long till someone recognises you and spreads the word.''
It was tearing you apart to actually admit that leaving is the best possibility.
''And where do you intend to stay?'' he asked.
''I've already booked a hotel room.'' Elijah added and Klaus frowned at him.
''Without my knowledge?'' Klaus growled.
''I don't have to ask your permission, dear brother.'' he opposed diplomaticly.
''That won't be needed, Elijah.'' you calmed the situation before Klaus could make a sound ''I have some place far enough from here to stay.''
''I see the two of you have it well planned. I'm obviously useless here.'' Klaus joined your chat, obviously offended by leaving him out of your plans. He looked at you both and silently left the room.
''Well, that didn't go well...'' you stated ''I should go and deal with him.''
''I don't think my brother is now in the right mood to be dealt with.'' Eljiah stopped you by gently grabbing your arm ''Give him some time, he has to cool down.'' he informed you.
''But we don't have time, Elijah.'' you said and pulled out of his grip.
Niklaus went to his painting room, he always does when he gets mad. Sometimes he also destroyes everything in there and then replaces it. You could hear the rumble even before entering the room. When you opened the door, flying canvas hit the wall few inches away from your head. He noticed you immediatelly, but didn't care enough to vamp-speed to you and make sure you're alright. You could see he was deeply hurt by your, as he'd call it, 'betrayal'.
''Nik, please, I'm sorry. I didn't intend to lie to you nor hurt you.'' you started, but he kept silent ''Scold at me, shout at me, but please, just say something.'' your voice broke at the end.
He just stood there looking at you. Your eyes got filled with tears.
''I can't leave without knowing you're okay with it.'' you sobbed.
''Then don't.'' he said, finally ''Don't leave. Give me some time and I'll figure another way.'' his eyes were glistened with tears filling them.
''They might be already prepared to break into our home any minute now and let's don't forget that we have less than a month till my first transformation... we don't have time to spare.'' you sobbed.
He came to you and hugged you. You buried your head into his chest.
''Are you sure you'll be alright? Losing you would destroy me, love. That's why I didn't want you to leave in the first place. Together were untouchable, but apart, we're both at our weakest.'' you sighed at those words and then rose your head, nodding in response with a tear sliding down your cheek.
''May I know now, where do you truly intend to stay?'' he smiled a little to lift your mood.

You woke up beside the love of your live once again. He was awake by the time you opened your eyes.
Klaus loved you like nobody before in his life. All of his siblings liked you too and they protected you every way they could. All of you but knew, that now, you're their (and Niklaus' especially) greatest weakness and their enemies wouldn't just stand back letting you all enjoy your happiness. You decided to start training in case something bad happened. Of course, Klaus wants only the best available for you so he and the Mikaelsons were training with you themselves. Elijah was your most frequent oponent and he liked your boldness when the two of you were fighting. That fire in your eyes. When it comes to Kol, you were quite good friends. Both of you shared the same sense of humor. Rebekah loved you like a sister she never had, but she hated your fashion aversion. You liked hoodies, jeans and sneakers, while she wanted you to wear dresses and heels. Whole your closet was mostly black, until you moved to their compound in New Orleans. After that, your closet was getting bigger and bigger and more colorful than ever, almost every day without your knowledge. And eventually, Klaus himself. You never stood a chance against the hybrid and he knew it even enjoyed it. As the time went by, you learned a thing or two. You needed to stop trying to defeat them by strenght. If you wanted to stand a chance against the original vampires, you had to be smarter. Then your score against them began improving.
As you saw him, you snuggled to him and your whole body was sore. Every muscle in your body felt like a truck rolled you over. You sighed.
''What is wrong love?'' he immediately asked.
''I think you went too hard on me yesterday.'' you answered while burying your head in his chest.
''You have to be prepared for anything sweetheart. We don't want you to get hurt, do we?'' he asked with a proud smirk appearing on his face.
You just nodded with a little chuckle and kept your head on him.
''Finally! You're awake!'' the door flew open with Rebekah standing there '' (y/n)! Come on! Get up! You ain't gonna stay in bed the whole day, are you?'' she called on you.
''Just give me a moment okay?'' you sighed and on your request, she closed the door and left.
You tried to pull away from Klaus, but he didn't let you.
''Don't go.'' he begged ''Stay here with me.''
''I'd love to, b—'' he dragged you into a kiss and didn't let you finish. When you somehow got out of his grip, you cupped his face.
''But... Rebekah will kill me, if I do.'' you gave him a pityful look.

Rebekah drew you from one boutique to another. Both of you had hands full of bags and you didn't even know what was inside. You just kept trying on everything Rebekah gave you and she, obviously, decided whether you buy it or not. You spent all day this way and it soon got dark outside.

When you left the mall, both of you started looking for your car in that over-filled parking area. It was quiet evening and the streets were almost empty. As you finally both spotted it and headed to it, someone grabbed you and covered your mouth to shut you up. You somehow managed to turn and looked at Rebekah, who was also held by other two strangers while another one was trying to inject her something looking like vervain right into her neck. You tried to get out of the man's grip. Then you remembered all of your trainings. You elbowed the stranger to the ribs and his grip on you loosened just enough to slip out and get enough time to turn and give him a nice right hook. The guy with the syringe noticed you and instinctively put out a combat knife. As you saw him coming straight to you, you grabbed one of his guys, which also helped Rebekah to break free and she quickly snapped the last man's neck. Your attacker's gaze stayed on you no matter how you tried to hide behind other cars. You saw Rebekah behind him killing the other two men. Just to make sure they won't cause trouble anymore. You saw the man looking for you and he wasn't far away so you rushed out of your hiding spot straight towards her.
''Rebekah!'' you called her name in desperation.
She turned at you, vamp-speeded to you and pinned the man to the ground. You quickly grabbed the knife he dropped and came to them.
''Who sent you?!'' she shouted at him ''Syringes with vervain aren't the most common way to stun someone, answer my question!''
The man chuckled.
''I just hate your kind.'' he sighed ''But she isn't like you, she's human. I wonder why would you care about something so fragile like a human being.''
That offended you slightly so you took that knife and put it to his neck.
''Do I seem fragile to you?'' you asked.
The man started to laugh.
''Oh don't worry, something bigger is going to happen and you won't be able to protect yourself nor will be any of them.'' he said with a disgusted voice at the end.
''What the bloody hell are you talking about?'' Rebekah rejoined the conversation.
''You and your brothers have much more enemies than you might think.'' he grinned at Rebekah ''My intention wasn't killing you, I'm just a messenger. Take this little incident as a warning.'' he finished.
Suddenly, he kicked Rebekah away and you slit his throat just in time before he could hurt you too. You looked at his dead body in shock of your own doing. Your hands stained from blood. Your body trembled. Rebekah got back to you and turned you away from the corpse. Tears filled your eyes and you fell to the ground.
''Shh, shhh. It's okay. It's over (y/n).'' she tried to calm you.
''I killed him.'' you sobbed.
You hardly finished the sentence and a terrible pain shot through your body. Your eyes glew yellow, then faded.

''Where are you love? Rebekah was supposed to come back with you half an hour ago and you weren't answering my calls. Is everything alright?'' you could hear echoing from the phone speaker.
''We are on our way, Nik.'' Rebekah answered. Almost didn't finish the sentence when Nik continued.
''Where's (y/n), what happened? Rebekah?!'' you could hear rage in his voice rising.
''She's...'' Rebekah stopped for a second and looked at you. Than she continued ''fine. Just terrified.''
You looked at her with your eyes saying thank you and asking why she didn't tell him straight away what happened at the same time.
''I'll tell you everything when we reach the compound.'' she answered.
''You better do, or you might be reunited with your silver best friend for some time again, if (y/n) is even slightly hurt.'' Nik threatened her.
You looked at her and straighted your arm to give you the phone. The way she looked at you was almost like asking 'Are you sure?' and even she kept silent, you slightly nodded your head. She handed you the phone.
''Nik.'' you let out of your lips.
''(y/n), love, are you okay?'' he sounded a little more relaxed.
''Well, it depends. But I guess the answer is yes.'' Klaus heard in your voice something was wrong.
''Can you give me Rebekah, please?'' he asked surprisingly nicely.
Despite your confusion of his kind tone, you let out agreeing sound and handed the phone back to Rebekah.

You were too terrified of upcoming happenings of your newly found origin as a werewolf and Rebekah didn't want to push you. All you could do was just stand on one foot and enjoy your punishment from the big bad hybrid himself. He lifted you up and pressed you against the wall, so now you were in the air held only by the building and body of your love. You started to feel it coming, but all you were able to let out of your mouth were sighs and moans of pleasure. Few more of his reckless thurst, and you were flooded with amazing feeling from reaching the peak. As if you were synced, you felt his hot spurts filling you and he sighed in satisfaction.

''Alright, let's get out of here, before anyone notices you're almost naked.'' he said while he put you down on your feet. The second he let you, to reach clothes of his lying on the ground, where you left them, you tried to stand on your own, but your legs felt like jelly and you nearly fell when Klaus vamp-speeded to you and catched you.
''Looks like your punishment was quite severe.'' you left out a giggle.
''I hope you'll remeber it.'' he replied with a smirk on that handsome face of his.
''Here love, clothe yourself.'' he handed you his coat.
You tried to make a step, but almost fell again.
''I guess i'll need your help on this hun.'' you said while trying to stand still.
He just chuckled, but he offered you his hand and both of you went back to their mansion.
When you arrived, Elijah was talking to Kol. Their heated conversation stopped as soon as they saw the two of you standing in the door. You kept silent and looking at the ground, while walking behind Klaus who held your hand, unsure if they won't try to kill each other .
''I forgive you dear brother.'' he said with a smile on his face as he kept going towards the staircase with you inches behind his back ''But I must assure you, if you ever, try that again, i won't be so merciful as tonight.''
You didn't look anywhere beside Klaus' back as both of you headed to his room. Elijah and Kol both stood quietly on the same spot and watched you leaving. When you got into Klaus' room, he shut the door and led you to his bed.
''Make yourself comfortable, love.'' he said with caring voice ''I can lend you one of my shirts if you'd like to.''
''That'd be great, thank you.'' you replied as you took off his coat.
''There you go.'' he handed you his dark grey shirt. It sounded like that anger was all gone, like nothing happened and he just cared about you as usual. You put it on yourself and yawned. He came to you and laid on the bed next to you.
''You're exhausted love, lie there and let yourself fall asleep. It hurts me to see you tired.'' he said and you laid next to him while he covered you with his royal duvet.
''I love you, Nik. I'll always do .'' you whispered nearly asleep.
''I know, love. I know. Rest now.'' were the last words you heard.

''Everything has to be always the way you want, doesn't it?'' you shouted at him in the heat of your argument, because of Klaus being overprotective too much again and letting you go nowhere. Not especially now, when some hunter is in the town looking mainly for supernatural creatures.
''I'm just trying to protect you, (y/n)!'' he opposed
''This isn't protection, this is immurement. I can't go anywhere without your premission.'' you continued ''I'm like a prisoner in this house and i'm sick of it!''
''What do you want me to do?'' he asked with a calm tone ''You know it's not safe out there, love. I can't let something happen to you, i care about you too much.''
''Maybe you shouldn't.'' you replied coldly ''I know how to take care of myself. You don't need to worry.''
''Don't do this to me, (y/n), please.'' he begged while watching you leave his room.
''What happened up there?'' Elijah asked seeing you rushing down the stairs and making your way to the front door.
''Get out of my way, Elijah, i can't be here any more minute.'' you snarled at him while pushing him away.
''Can you tell us at least, where you're going?'' Elijah overran his brother.
''Why? So you can follow me and drag me back here? I don't think so.'' you retorted, but then thought for a second and replied ''Woods. Release the steam.'' then you left with a loud door slam.
You walked as fast as you could to get as far as possible from the house which was last few weeks the only place you were allowed to be. You felt free. Nobody telling you, where you can or can't go. As soon as you were far enough from city, you transformed into your wolf form. Finally free. The night was magnificent. Sky was bright, air was fresh and you finally didn't have to worry about some hunter trying to kill you. You ran as fast as you could and slowly released all those negative thoughts out of your mind. You were happy. Nothing feels better than a propper run in the forest. As you were running, suddenly, your right hind leg felt like it's on fire. You fell and took a look on it. Great. A bear trap. You howled from the pain loud enough for the whole city to hear. You looked around if someone was nearby. Unfotunately, you saw a silhouette of some man. You concluded it wasn't the best time for you to transform back in front of him. You pretended to be a normal wolf. Soon enough, you realized that wasn't the way to stay alive. The man crouched and looked into your eyes.
''Well, well, well, what do we have here? A werewolf? Naah, it's not a full moon, so i assume, you're a hybrid.'' he said and you could give him only a growl through your suffering.
''Could you transform back? I'd like to ask you some questions. Here, you don't have to be naked.'' he handed you a shirt from his backpack.
You transformed back and covered yourself with it. The pain was horrible.
''Could you get me out of this, please?'' you tried to persuade him with puppy eyes.
''You don't think i'm that stupid, do you?'' he grinned ''Let me explain you, how this is gonna be. I'm here the one who asks questions and you give answers. So, let's start with something simple, shall we? Like, why are you here all alone, where is your sire?'' he looked at you and you just avoided eye contact.
''Don't tell me that he let you leave.'' he asked sarcasticly.
''Yes'' you nodded quietly ''What do you want from me?''
''Oh, don't take it personally, but you're here just as a bait. After his actions, i guess you're really big deal for him, so he'll come and save you.'' he said so confidently you almost believed him, but than you remembered your argument.
''I don't think so.'' you replied with a small chuckle.
''And why is that so?'' he got a little nervous.
''Well, we're having bad times now, so, all this, might be useless.'' you sounded quite confident but your heart was beating for life.
''Oh, i'm sure he'll come, you just have to try harder darling.'' he grinned and stabbed you in tigh, your scream was hella loud. Like it wasn't enough for you to be stuck in a bloody bear trap with this idiot, you had a knife inside your leg now too.
''Let me ask you something.'' you sighed through the pain ''Even if he comes, what are you intentions with him?''
''Well since you ask so nicely.'' he stopped for a dramatic pause ''I'm going to kill him.''
''And how are you gonna do it? The white oak stake? I'm pretty sure the last one existing was thrown into fire.''
''Not the last one as you can clearly see.'' he took that awful weapon out of his backpack to show it to you.

''Oh honey, you have no idea what's possible.'' he was enjoying that helpless look on that cute little face of yours.
Out of nowhere, the hunter got thrown against a tree and dropped the stake. You saw Rebekah had grabbed the stake and Elijah grabed the hunter. You were weak because of how much blood you lost throughout this little chat, so you could barely see what was happening. Meanwhile you were looking at Elijah choking this man against a tree, someone opened the bear trap and you pulled out your leg immediately without thinking.
''Klaus?'' you hardly turned to look at your savior.
''What did you get yourself into again, love?'' he asked and as he looked at your hurt leg, you saw the anger rise in him instantly.
He got up from you and came to the almost choked man. Elijah let him for a moment and Klaus took some of the man's knives.
''You're gonna pay for what you did to her, do you understand me?'' he scowled at the bleeding man. ''I'm gonna enjoy this.'' he said, unbuttoned the man's shirt and cut him on chest. And again. And again. Then he stabbed the man and started turning the blade inside his stomach.
''Oh come on Nik, we don't have all century for this,'' Rebekah whined ''and i'm hungry.''
''You don't have to worry, sister. Your dinner is right in front of you. And since you're so annoying, here, help yourself.'' you could blurry see Klaus coming to you.
''I hope you understand how foolish your actions were, (y/n).'' he smirked.
''Well, it was fun, until that bloody trap.'' you chuckled. He chuckled too a little.
''I'm sorry, Klaus. I was just mad. It was driving me crazy staying inside that house all the time.'' you apologised deeply.
''I understand, love. I shouldn't have been keeping you there like a prisoner. I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?'' he looked so devastated by his own actions.
''After everything we've been through, you are asking if i can forgive you keeping me in your house for my own safety?''
He looked at you with so much guilt in his eyes.
''Don't you dare to blame yourself. You know i love you as much as you love me. Even if you'd do it another thousand times, i'll forgive you each one of them.'' you lifted up his chin and passionately kissed him. His arms hugged you tightly.
''All right you two, can we go home now?'' Rebekah asked annoyingly.
Klaus picked you up and carried you all the way to their car. He carefully laid you on backseats and wrapped you in a blanket. You rested your head on Rebekah's thighs and she held your hand.
Elijah got into the car and Klaus started the engine. All of you were on the way back to the Mikaelsons'.
''So..., I was thinking.''
''About what, Rebekah?'' Klaus replied with a little disgust in his voice.
''What if (y/n) moved in? It would be easier to protect her. And also you'll have more time on each other, all you'll need to do is nicely ask.'' she smiled.
Klaus looked at you through the rear-view mirror, to see your reaction and then his eyes got back to the road.
''What do you think (y/n)? Would you?'' he asked uncertainly.
''I mean, it sounds great.'' you replied with a smile on your face.
''It's settled then, (y/n), welcome to the Mikaelson family.'' said Elijah enthusiastically.
''You're one of us now, love.'' Klaus ended the conversation, parked the car and brought you to your new home.
House-movers started early in the moring the following day and when you woke up, all of your stuff was already in there.
