Alenova fashion

Born in Russia, lived in Kazakhstan between the age of 7 and 15. Then independently moved to Manchester to study art. Following this moved to London to continue her creative journey; recently completed BA (Hons) in Fashion&Textiles at Univeristy of West London. Currently doing her Masters at De Montfort University. Changing surroundings made her learn to adapt and get along with people in order to meet goals and immerse deeply into the different social and cultural settings. She believes it is crucial not only to make distinctive fashion, but also that it must be commercially viable and sell. She wants to bring confidence in her customer's self-evaluation, her design goal is to be the most refined, quirky and cutting-edge. Particularly interested in the innovation within design, because ultimately she wants her brand to be successful with its modern desirability but also classic and chic. The core values in her designs are clever combinations and manipulations of various materials, combined with classic organic shapes accenting on a strong engineering twist. She prides herself to be resourceful on the extent to which she goes to seek out primary and secondary sources. She enjoys the textiles side of fashion: fabric dying, screen-printing, silk painting, experimenting with fabrics, combining different fabrics & colour whilst thinking about the practical side of things in 3D on a body.
