Invisible Man, After Ralph Ellison, the Prologue (1999-2000)

Inspired by Ralph Ellison’s book, Invisible Man, Wall recreated the prologue featuring Ellison’s unnamed African American man as well as other elements of the book, but still drawing on his own imagination as to not create a literal replica or translation from the book.
