“Extremely,” Fabian agreed not really joking, “Yeah I’d guess so. What possessed you to put on a pair of death traps? Looking to impress somebody?”
“Most shoes are death traps but the answer to that question might be yes. I cannot assure you a definite answer.”
The grin that pulls at her lips is unmistakably Jeanie’s, even with a mask over her face. “Diana Prince, Wonder Woman, who is, yes, a badass princess. I mean, I already had it all ready, ‘cause it’s a costume I’d worked on in the past. It’s fun to dress up, so if it took long, I didn’t really notice. And thank you.”
“Hey I was close!” Alessia remarked happily with a nod. “It’s a beautiful dress, clearly you put a lot of work into everything. I don’t think I would’ve had the patience. Gotta love wonder woman, though. She’s like the queen of superheroes,”
Benjy couldn’t help the smile that made it’s way onto his face. When she took his arm, he smiled again as lead her to the left, toward the tables, but didn’t actually near the tables. “ So–– I was wondering.. Uh, you don’t have to answer, it’s non of my business, but uh–- ” He was stumbling over his words. He didn’t know how to ask. “ Never mind. ” He shook his head. Deciding it better to not ask. “ How about a dance? I promise I won’t let you fall. ––– Unless you have to get back to your date? ” He almost winced at how he ended up asking the question anyways.
It would’ve been easy to say something like this was awkward but surprisingly so it wasn’t not at all. Not for her at least, so far anyway. She turned her head, raising a brow in question curious as to what he meant to ask. “What is it?” She was curious what could she say. “Oh! I went with Marlene as friends. She’s probably somewhere having fun. I can’t promise I won’t step on your feet, I have little control over my footing in these shoes but a dance would be nice.”
“ I feel like you’re saying ‘one day’ because you still don’t know what it is. ” He smirked playfully.
“I am saying one day because I will show you, one day. I know what it is! Somewhat... I know!”
“Whaddaya think I am?” Jeanie asks, a grin pulling at her lips. Of course, the others around her can’t see who she even is, so they definitely can’t see the smile on her face. Her mask isn’t elaborate , but it isn’t simple, either. It’s clear that Jean’s made it herself, and it’s equally as clear that she’s quite proud of it, and the outfit she’s wearing.
“A badass princess?” The girl wondered knowing she could’ve been wrong looking over the other’s dress in slight amazement. “I mean this in the best way possible did it take long to put all that together? You look great by the way.”
“ That’s…unfortunate. Has anything happened? You know, you could always try and slow your steps down if you feel like falling or anything.Especially on heels and in a dress.”
“ Not yet thankfully! I’m just not too great at walking in general as embarrassing as that is, heels don’t help.”
“ Do you want me to held your hand? Maybe that way you’ll have normal coordonation.”
“ No James. I do not want you to hold my hand, nor do I think it would repair my coordination. “
“ –– Well I think you look amazing… Even tripping with every step. ” He smirked as he neared her. “ How ‘bout a break from falling? Let me help you out. ” He offered his arm.
“Aw thanks! You know you clean up pretty nicely yourself.” She complimented offering him a smile. She pondered on the idea for a moment before accepting the offer. “Thanks, trust me in these shoes I appreciate it a lot.”
“Funny,” Fabian deadpanned, then softened his tone uncharacteristically and added, “You could always like take it in or something so you don’t trip over the heels.”
“Oh yeah it’ll be hilarious when I fall on my ass.” She was only joking but not looking forward to the upcoming moment of such an event. “It’s far too late for that now.”
“I wondered why I didn’t wear dresses, and then I remembered I have the tragic coordination of a baby deer on ice.”

Alessia chewed on the back of her pen out of nervous habit, glancing down at the book in front of her flipping the page absentmindedly. She would've like to said that it wasn't awkward but hell, if she had she would have been lying and she certainly had no positives to come out of that. It wasn't that they hadn't gotten along because they had, they still spoke and still talked but it was no where as near as it used to be. "So..." She began dropping the pen back onto the table. It was a complete surprise to her that they had been assigned partners out of everyone in their entire class. Alessia supposed in a way it was an excuse to talk to him normally again. "Do you know what you want to do?"
