Alessia groaned and fell backwards onto the bed. Not only was she with a complete stranger, but said stranger was perky. “I don’t know how I got here, so no, it’s not nice,” her tone probably came off more bitter than she intended.

Waking up in unfamiliar surroundings was something Alessia had gotten used to over the past six or seven months. She hated that she had just accepted this as her normal life. Of all the places she had woken up - and there were some weird ones -  she had never woken up in someones house before. Or at least she hoped it was someones house and not just some haunted, abandoned home. “Where the hell am I?”
