They held a small grocery bag and tilted their head in confusion
“What are you doing?”

Alex looked concerned and rushed over
“Hey. Hey are you ok?”
It’s been a year seen I * he hugs them picking them up*
They seemed a bit startled about being picked up and yelped a bit before relaxing and patting his head a bit

They smiled and went to the kitchen to put the groceries up

They had quite a few groceries and putting them up was taking a while

They looked a little more tired for a moment

They made there way to the door which hadnt been closed properly in the first place and opened it

They paused looking at the coat on the floor that should’ve been hanging up noticing a tail sticking out of it
“Actually heres a cat right now”
They picked up the cat and moved to hang the coat back up. There was now a little calico in their arms
Hmmm ok he must not be here if you see him call me asap he never mind * she checks a list * I’ll be back soon
“Alright! Take care of yourself!”
They smiled placing the cat back on the ground who seemed a little upset that the coat was gone
* she leaves * is she gone ?
They closed the door properly so that it disappeared from sight this time
“I think so. Now I think a cat may have knocked something over…”
…So that wasn’t a lie. They genuinely thought the crash was a cat knocking something down
