That nonsexual intimacy of just being in each other's spaces, of gravitating towards each other, always subconsciously reaching out to each other. Finding comfort and satisfaction in being close to each other, breathing each other in, existing together.

You ever meet someone, and there's an ease with them? It's like your minds are on the same frequency, and intimacy comes naturally? If not for their connection, I doubt I would have watched all of S1 much less S2 and S3. It's hard for me to finish stressful shows. I will quit them in a heartbeat! However, the magic in their scenes even before I shipped plus the authenticity of Carmy, Syd, and the OG Beef crew drew me in. It wasn't the symbolism, the cinematography, the realistic depictions of grief and trauma, or the culinary arts. I know The Bear is heavily about family wounds, mental health, addiction, and self-actualization. That's awesome. But for me, it's just Syd, Carmy, and the found family. They enjoyed sharing space and made each other better. SO BRING THEM BACK TOGETHER AND MAKE IT BEAR(able) to WATCH!!!!

Thank you for all the kind words about A Matter of Taste, (something I wrote as a reward to myself for writing 100 pages of my own book haha). I wasn't sure if anyone would even be interested in reading the fic, so it made me happy to read the comments.

I can't reply individually to each comment at the moment, but I just wanted to send a message out to the ether saying I'm so grateful to anyone who reads anything I write. It's hard to be creative when life is life-ing, so I truly appreciate it. ❤️

This is still so wild that they had Carmy looking at his platonic coworker Sydney like this;

A few eps into S1, like she’s the sun AND the moon, his first and last opportunity to experience all consuming love and desire. He was down horrendously just from hello though,

So by the time it gets to the outside sit down, it make sense he’s reached the point of having to balance saying ‘I love you I love you I love you’ in his head with also waiting and watching for every word that falls from her lips and studying her face and reactions, all the better to connect with her.

He fell so fast, and so hard. Tee hee hee
