Sam sighed as he leaned back against Lucifer who was also leaning back against the headboard of the bed in the motel they were staying at. Dean was adement about covering more cases if they split into teams and set out on different cases. Although, Sam had a suspicious that Dean just wanted some alone time with Castiel, time that wouldn’t be interrupted by he or Lucifer, which he was fine with.

The arms around Sam tightened slightly and there was a breath against the back of his neck, making him shiver. Sam had always felt complete when he was with Lucifer and to this day, he still don’t know the true reason why. He hardly dwelled on that anymore, though. 

“I never thought I deserved someone like you.” Lucifer whispered but Sam still caught it. If there’s one think they have in common that he hated, it’s the self-worth issues they have. He shook his head and sit up before turning around and face the other.

“Stop putting yourself down, don’t you realize how perfect you are?” he placed his hands on Lucifer’s shoulders and leaned close to him and, once he saw the archangel’s mouth open to possibly protest, he surged forward, kissing him and he felt Lucifer melt in an instant.
