25 AND STILL NOT MARRIED? :O WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?? :O
"You are 25! Aren't you planning on settling down?"
"When are you getting married?"
"Did you get promoted?"
"How much do you make? I'm sure its enough for you to provide for a family"
"Do you have anyone or should we suggest someone to your dad and mum?"
"She will be perfect for you! Your parents will love her!"
"People of your age is already married by now. When are you planning to?"
"She will be a perfect match for you. You two will have adorable babies"
Me: *nodding my head* “………… mmhmm okay listen! Do you know which route I should take next? I would prefer if the route has some curved roads and probably a good pizza joint on the way!”
Life is not all about working 10 – 12 hours a day and slogging for that worthless promotion at that job that you hate so you can quickly get married and make babies and settle down. NO! BIG FAT NO!
Yes you should work! Yes you should have a stable income! Yes you should find that special someone and settle down! Yes in this society you should ideally be doing all this. BUT! It shouldn't be at the cost of being happy! There is so much that life has to offer and trust me you haven’t experienced the half of it. Take a week holiday from work, pack your bags, travel! Or go to the library every day that week and read the books that you so badly wanted to read in the past couple of years! Or binge-watch the series that you’ve been planning to watch! Or finish that game and cross off all those accomplishments and top the leaderboard! Do something that makes you happy! Don’t live under the pressure of the society and the worldly expectations. That’s not living, that’s more like exploitation of your life, time and energy. You could say it’s the modern day human trafficking. God didn’t create this beautiful world and give you this beautiful life to just let it go waste. TRAVEL! READ! BE HAPPY! AND LIVE!! Don’t give into this exploitation! Take your bike out! Explore this beautiful world that God has created. Ride in the monsoon (Only with proper bike gear though!), get muddy, wash your bike after you reach home, when you see a breath taking view stop for a second! Not to take pictures and post it on social media, I mean come one I would need a phone with at least a 1TB of storage if I stopped and clicked and posted photographs of the beautiful nature. Stop for a second, look around, see what you are missing out on, experience it, breathe in, just stay there and live that moment! Start the engine and move forward to live through another beautiful view, bond with your bike, bond with the roads, and bond with nature!
Pack your bags! Get your riding gear! Start riding to any random destination! Stop for a second! Look around! Experience it! Breathe! LIVE! On a serious note, please do suggest some routes. I want to live!
