As for coyote ugly… I had no idea what that is to be honest and I had to search it. I’m not really sure I’m comfortable with the whole “ugly one night stand I want to escape at all cost” or with Imrrick finding each other repulsive in any way. They are soulmates. That bit is non-negotiable for me.

Aside from that part… one of them trying to sneak off without being seen in the morning because they feel like they messed up a very good friendship and they are in full panic mode? Yeah, that’s doable.

Summary: Imogen Cardulo has always thought she had her life - albeit stressful and demanding - under control. She minds her own business, working hard for her degree in Universal Literature while juggling both being a librarian and a private tutor, all while living in a region where every Navarrian pack hates her guts for the mere fact that she's a Tyr. Messy mating bonds that are not even reciprocated don't fit in her plans at all - just like anything that has to do with werewolf instincts. Thankfully all that were non-sense is kept in check by her trusty suppressant in modern civilised society.

Only if one doesn't forget to take her monthly shot.

Rule #5 Reminder

This is a friendly reminder that per rule #5, all work must be your own. It was brought to my attention yesterday that a submission made for Romance Week was a combination of two other writers’s works. This is not allowed, period. It’s sad that most writers know the sickening feeling of their work being stolen, scrapped for ideas, or chucked into AI. I unfortunately know the feeling as well and it is why I take this so seriously.

I also wanted to make this post to say should you notice someone participating in EE copying you or another person’s work, I encourage you to notify me. I created Empyrean Events with the idea of a safe space for creators to share their works and support others within the fandom, and I will not risk people fearing to participate because people can’t have basic decency.

I greatly appreciate every single one of you who helped me turn a random idea I had one day into something real. Empyrean Events would be nothing without those who participate, and I will do whatever I can to protect what we have created.
