Hey, FYI, I just posted a new Steve/Tony 616 work over on Ao3, the first fannish thing I’ve written in a long, long time. It’s based on another fic by @sineala, “Straight on till Morning”, aka the Star Trek fic. It’s a favorite of mine.

I will probably post some more things over there. (And I just updated my profile on ao3 which still listed my old pronouns and in which I referred to myself as ‘cis’, yiiiiiiikes, oops)

I also think it’s super likely that I won’t be posting here on Tumblr anymore, but I’m probably not going to shut this down, either.

You can remap “PASTE AND MATCH STYLE” in Scrivener to a keyboard shortcut. Any shortcut you like, but I just used the standard mac one.

System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts > Scrivener

holy FUCK I am getting Scrivener setup and it is so amazing. Worth every penny so far.

I just backported the first three chapters of Against the Dark to a Scriv project, added an outline / doc placeholders for Chapter 4, and I’m going to pull in all my research and notes into one place. THE WHOLE THING WILL BE SEARCHABLE AND BROWSABLE, I CAN’T EVENNNN.

(BTW according to Scriv’s stats mode, if ATD was a printed book it would already be 221 pages 😳😳😳)

Also gonna fire up a doc for my original book, and my short stories, and maybe one for all my Tinker Sailor stuff as well.

AAAAH. IT’S SO AMAZING I’M JUST YELLIN ABOUT IT TO ANYONE WHO’LL LISTEN.

I know how Act One starts, and maybe some parts of later books, but I need the first book to end on a strong note, and I’ve got to sort this somehow. I think I need to do more work on the socio-political status of the kingdom, and understand how that intersects with the larger magical plot. Me: ... Me: ...
