Rebranding Like a K-pop Idol: Step 3 Signature style

Hi again everyone,

as some of you may remember from my last post my goal for the week was to find my signature style/aesthetic and instead of picking and choosing from the thousands of aesthetics that already exist i accidentally created my own. Now when i say i created my own its doesn't mean i'm the first person that goes with this vibe/ aesthetic it just means i'm the first to give it a name. The name i am calling this aesthetic is...

2000s fairy princess rom-com

Moving on as you can see i have included a mood board of the types of outfits/clothes that i genuinely like and would wear out and about and this mood board will be wear i draw my inspo from when it comes to shopping online/instore or thrifting. As you can see the 2000s fairy princess rom-com aesthetic includes flowy skirts, fun hairstyles but most of all fun bright colours that complement each other.

One of the 3 characters that embody this aesthetic is Giselle from enchanted as we see throughout the movie Giselle is always the best dressed in my opinion and her style is vastly different compared to everyone else on screen except morgens which shows that Giselle's style has a childlike aspect to it cause even the Giselle adapted to more modern clothes she never really still kept a style that encapsulated her as a person. Hence why she was my biggest inspiration when creating this mood board.

Rebranding Like a K-pop idol: Step 1 & 2

So as you can tell by the title i have completed step 1 and 2 of the rebrand if you don't remember what step 1 and 2 were that's okay ill remind you guys. Step 1 - was to define the era of the rebrand i.e. just give it a fun title/name so for this specific era my name is going to be called "My Pink Hair Era" i know it not the best name but its simple and self explanatory on what the era is going to be about but if anyone has any better name suggestions i would love to here them. Now step 2 - was to have a drastic visual transformation and if you couldn't guess by step 1 i now have pink hair and i am loving life i genuinely cant stop looking at myself in the mirror and i do feel much more confident because of it. i cant even put into words how happy i am about having pink hair since that has been my dream since i was 8 and now that i have actually made it happen i feel like crying lowkey just because i know she would be so ecstatic.

Anyway moving on from my minor emotional breakdown i still have to dye my hair some more as i missed some sections as i didn't have any help and done it by myself so i will be enlisting the help of my boyfriend. But once my pink hair is fully done i promise i will be showing you guys on here or my private Instagram account as that's my designated early access account for the future where ill be sharing announcements and just random life updates. Now the next step for me to do if figuring out my signature styling so for this ill probably make a moodboard or something on pinterest for some inspiration as i already i have an idea in mind and i really recommend on if you are stuck on what your signature style is to take the signature style test by vogue college of fashion. i don't know how or why but i have suddenly gotten the urge to rebrand my entire life like every girl does once or twice a month but i have decided to go the extra mile and add a twist. any guesses? no? its okay i wouldn't get it either if i were you so ill be nice and tell you all, my twist is that ill be rebranding myself like a k-pop idol. now if some of you are confused that's okay just watch the katseye documentary for a more eloquent answer but if you cant be bothered or simply cant be bothered just look at katseye before and after photos that's the kind of scale i'm on about. and like the cruel person i am my subconscioushas decided that well start today so i have already cleared out some clothes that were being stored to be sold on vinted that have been up for a couple of months that no one has bought and i'm gonna donate them to a charity shop at some point this week. I'm genuinely excited though and have already done some research on it and got the 6 key steps all sorted and for any of the girlies who are curious and inspired the rules will be found at the bottom of this post.

either way please pray for me are manifest that i do well with this and ill be documenting my journey/progress on here as a way for me to also be posting on here more and grow a community of like minded individuals.
