I’m an Emotional Mess™, this episode killed me. Jace and Alec reminded me so much of Jem and Will and when Jace started to recite the Parabatai oath I couldn’t stop myself from crying. And the flashbacks made the whole thing so emotional!

Matt and Dom have such an amazing chemistry, they literally made my heart melt! Kudos to the Shadowhunters cast, you really outdid yourselves this time!

The most iconic™ character in episode 2 was obviously Magnus Bane for breaking into his ex’s apartment and stealing all of his shit back

I loved it !! Izzy was flawless (also lots of clizzy *-*) and we saw Clary drawing, and (SPOIL) I KNEW Dot would come back later, iI was so happy. I'm just really sad that Gretel died. And, also, Simon and Magnus were awesome, i loved the "omg india now let's take back all my things she stole and fight a fire breathing snake" part XD

aaaw I agree with everything you just said! Also, Alec dealing with the whole parabatai thing broke my heart, I can't wait to see him and Jace reunited :')

honestly guys when Izzy went to Clary to apologize on behalf of Alec my heart just filled with sO MUCH JOY

CAN YOU BELIEVE WE HAVE BEEN GIFTED WITH SUCH A PURE AND BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP??? TWO YOUNG WOMEN SUPPORTING EACH OTHER AND HAVING EACH OTHER’S BACKS Izzy wants Clary to feel accepted, she’s always tried to make her feel welcomed and at ease right from the start and she treats her like she’s part of her family, like she’s her sister because she gets the pain and the shock Clary must have been through and, growning up, she has always been the one who had to kinda act like a mother to her siblings and of course when she sees Clary for the first time she has that motherly instinct towards her and that’s just so beautiful because although she deeply loves and trusts Alec with her life she stands up for Clary because “what the hell, I won’t allow him to treat her like she’s a piece of shit” because that’s what family is for, you help each other, and Clary needs someone to call “family” right now

and well, that whole scene made me so emotional
