I don't think ppl realize how much of a huge deal this is for Kerdly shippers, like we got ridiculed to hell and back all last year over the ship, told multiple times our ship wasn't valid, purposely shunned and isolated from the larger part of the fandom. Only to have our ship make in the top 50 ships for the Valentine's week event, that wasn't something me or my fellow shippers were expecting. I just want to say I'm proud of us, our ship might be a joke to many, but fan dedication speaks more volumes then one could perceive.

I hope the Knight works at Fangamer gag ages well when their identity is revealed. This was going to be a comics compilation with 2 other strips, but this one got long and I wanted it in time for Holiday. This was meant to be last in that compilation, so enjoy some gags that progress backwards when the others come out. These comics were inspired by the Ralsei plush sitting on my desk. It fell over and was just too far for me to really bother uprighting it, so he's been flashing gooch at me for months. I knew I learned 3D modeling for a good reason (ignoring the terrible topology)

I personally don't think Tenna would be as controlling in his relationship with Spamton as he was during Chapter 3 because it's not a life or death situation.

Tenna is a CRT television. Seeing as the game takes place around 202X, he would've been outdated even before Dess’ disappearance as CRT TVs were starting to go out of fashion as far as the 2000s I believe? (I don't know, I'm not a TV expert but that's the closest timeframe I could find. Someone can correct me on this one.) For someone like Tenna, you'd need to have a reason why you should be kept when there are other, better TVs than you. So Tenna works hard but even that couldn't be enough. Sometimes you just need a little help to stay on top. So he asks his partner for help! If he can also be a Big Shot then he wouldn't have to worry about being thrown away but Spamton leaves and everything spirals from then.

The only reason Tenna wasn't thrown away is most likely because he held sentimental value. If that's lost then he's nothing to the Dreemurs. It makes sense why he constantly keeps reminding Kris of better times because if the Dreemurs stopped caring about the past then he loses his value. What else does he have to offer when other models can do it better?

A common misconception is that Tenna has a big Ego but it's actually the opposite. Tenna doesn't hold himself in high value because he knows he's just an outdated TV in the Light World. It doesn't matter how powerful or mighty he is in the Dark World because he could lose it all for something that isn't even his fault in the Light World. The reason why he puts such a high value on himself is to convince everyone, even himself, that he's worth their time. If he can convince everyone he's on top of the World then they won't have a reason to leave.

So yeah, he is controlling because his life was literally on the line. This isn't even going in depth about how these controlling tendencies were the result of him not being in control of his own life and the Dreemurs falling apart.

Distant Memory --- some yapping under the cut ✨---------

This is an idea I've had for a while now, originally was going to have Tenna turn on his screen and show a birthday cake to Kris to blow the candles but I thought Asgore being the one to do it made more sense, Tenna still showed something on his screen though, so it's kinda like both did it XD I love, LOVE the idea of Tenna adopting some Asgore and Toriel mannerisms, so I made Asgore do a similar expression to Tenna's whispering sprite. Him having a little party hat too, I like the idea that Tenna is a bit of a character Asgore made up of the TV to play with both his children. I also gave younger Carol a slightly different haircut, I wanted to give her bangs that kinda look like a pine tree branch lol. So yeah, really wanted to give it a very nostalgic vibe, I myself really miss the birthdays or holidays we used to have in the family when I was little with all my cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents, now we don't really get together like that again for various reasons, cousins have their own families, left to live far away, some family members are not in good terms with each other and stuff.

A little bonus because they are singing Spamton's anthem there lol
