When the city feels like a work by Thomas Demand.
Hunting through the digital archives for some high res print files led me down a long forgotten avenue of work. An out take from a 2012 series that involved a lot of nudity and the Occult.

I have neglected you Tumblr. Please forgive me. I have also just come to terms with the unreality that I was on the other side of the world for six months. Lots of images to come.
Oh film, you make me so happy. This is one of the first images developed here in the Czech Republic, shot with my new Olympus XA3 - one the most insanely sharp pocket cameras I have ever used. This is somewhere near the Polish border...
For anyone following that doesn’t already know, I am currently on an extended trip around Europe. I will be back in NZ in July 2015. This is one of the first images I have been able get out of the big boy camera and into the interwebs. Prague, from the tourist haven that is the Charles Bridge. For more photos from this trip I have set up a separate blog, filled with photos and my usual lack of wit in the captions: europhotobomb.tumblr.com
My job sometimes involves lots of sitting inside staring at a screen. Sometimes it involves helicopters. Sometimes helicopters which they whip the door off so I can lean right out and get the shot.... Sometimes.
I recently had the pleasure of spending a 24 hour period aboard the Doubtful Navigator. This amazing ship took us through all the nooks and waterways of Doubtful Sound and even out to the Tasman Sea. I kayaked, swam and spotted Dolphins. Not a bad 24 hours...
